Follow the River [Shoto Todoroki x Reader: Fantasy AU]

So I've been wanting to write a fic like this for such a long time. I've had so much fun planning this.

If you didn't already know, this is a fantasy AU BNHA x fem reader. The cover was made by Toki_Lae. The art in the cover was made by flame2frost.

This is important to know: Since it's such a drastic change in universe, and my first try in this area, it turned out more story oriented and I put a lot of work into planning it to be so. The romance aspects may be a little slow, at least at first, basically a slow burn romance with lots of plot. If you're ok with this, great! If you're not sure and you're open to trying, even better. If not, I have other completely romance focused fics published and more in the making.

Warnings/Disclaimers:

Some characters that are protagonists in the show are antagonists here. (And maybe they convert, or die for their sins. Who knows?)

Quirks are non existent but are explained with magic based on charm bracelets. Most people retain their original powers, some are altered, etc.

Not everyone may have the same role in the Fantasy AU as shown in the ending.

Not every character shows up. Some show up late. Some show up barely.

There is Major Character Death. (Pertaining to their roles in this fic) And no, I don't kill characters just for shock value because I get sad too, but that's fun too I guess.

It's just a general Fantasy AU. Not everything is straight medieval like, and some modern things pop up. But there are no cell phones, modern guns, etc.

And finally, I've planned about 31 chapters. Updates will come mostly weekly.
