Chapter 3| 𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡

O N E W E E K L A T E R

It's been really weird and hard for me, since I haven't been with Adam. He kept sneaking into my room like a teenage boy, and being a romantic. I still haven't told anyone else about me and Adam except for Emily. Speaking of Emily, I'm here at a coffee shop waiting for her but she hasn't shown up yet. That's one thing about Emily, she tends to be late. A lot! "Finally you're here" I said as she took a seat and let out a small chuckle. "Well I was busy" she stated. "With what?" I asked. "I was finishing up my resume to get a job", "oh, do you think you found a good one?", " I hope so".

"I'm finally home!" I yelled as I slumped myself down on my couch. "AAAAHHH!! ADAM WHAT THE HELL!?" I yelled as I threw a pillow at him. He just looked at me and left out a small laugh. "You're cute when your mad". "I am not cute! And what are you doing here!? I thought you're supposed to be doing...you know King stuff." "Well I decided to come see my mate, is that such a bad thing?" "N'no" was all I said before he suddenly sat me on his lap and inhaled my scent. "I want to make us public." "WHAT!?" "Is that a bad thing!?". When he said that I could tell he was using his alpha voice. I immediately got scared and whimpered in his grasp." N'no". "Then I don't see any problem why". I was thinking hard, I know he's my mate and everything but, I'm not even his girlfriend. Heck, he hasn't even asked me. "Get ready I want to take you somewhere". Was what he said when he walked out of the house and left.

What was he talking about? Getting ready? I'm already ready! But where exactly is he taking me though?...that's is the question. 'You better do what your told! You don't want to get his wolf angry' my wolf said to me. A simple dress shouldn't hurt anyone.

He should've been here already! "Ugh...he's probably busy so I shouldn't ge-". There was a knock on the door. I leaped up from the chair already knowing that it was Adam. "Hey sorry I'm late, I just thought that girls needed a lot of time to get ready." Oh so that's why he was late. Awww...he thought that I would take my time. He's so cute. "Well...shall we go, or stay here? My parents will be back in a few". "Let's go".

We left and he took me to this beautiful area in the woods, with fairly lights going from one tree to another, and a small table placed in the middle with a bunch of fruit, veggies and meant sandwiches all over the table. He pulled out the chair for me as I took a seat. He sat in front of me. We started small chat getting to know each other a bit more. I'll admit he really is a charmer. But when I looked into his eyes I saw that there was something missing. I couldn't make out what it was, was it because of me or his parents. All of a sudden I got this rush of guilt over me as I remember that night. Maybe if me and him weren't mates his parents still would've been here. I could feel my eyes tearing up a little, so I started at the lights around us.  I felt a small spark as I was being lifted up and onto his lap. "Are you okay?" He said. I don't want him to worry about me to much so I lied. "Of course, I'm with you" I teased. And again. I got caught into his eyes. "Can I kiss you?" Was the first thing that left my mouth. And without an answer I kissed him. The feeling was unexplainable. The way his lips moved perfectly in synced with mine.
