"I HATE YOU" I yell while running outside and plugging in my ear buds and put on into you by ariana grande.
Wanna know what happened well basically
My 'parents' hailey And justin bieber told me  that I'm adopted.
I have know emotions right now it's like my whole body is numb. I feel sad and mad. I kinda already knew something was up cause I don't look like any of my parents at all.

I take one earbud out when I reach the empty school parking lot

"Hey you ok you look really sad"
I hear a voice coming from the monkey bars. I look up and see a
Boy about my Age
"Why should I tell you?" I ask raising my eyebrows.
"I'm sorry im just wondering and wanted to know if you were okay cause you looked like you were crying earlier."
"Oh ok... Do you really want to know what happened" I ask

"I don't mind sweetheart"
I blush at the name he gave me and start to talk
"Well my parents just told me I was adopted, and I just realized I have nowhere to sleep tonight cause I am not going back there"

"Cheer up eh?..
If you want you can come over and sleep at my place I'm sure my mum won't mind" he says scratching the back of his neck and looking down "Hopefully"
"Your Canadian?" I ask
"Do I sound Canadian eh?" The boy  says in a heavy accent making us both laugh
I honestly don't really care were I go as long as it's not with my parents I just need to be away from them rn.
"Yeah I don't mind"  I say as he hops off the monkey bars
"My name's shawn by the way"
"Nice to meet you my names Kaia"
"That's a really pretty name" he says while looking at the time on his phone "shit it's 8:15 my mom's going to kill me"
"How far away is your house" I ask looking at him
"About 88 miles"
"It's going to take us like an hour to get back" I say since there's no cars what so ever.
"No it won't"
What do yo-" I start but get cut off by someone cat calling me. "How much baby girl" I look over to see three middle age guys walking over to us. "Damm Mami you thicc" one of the guys say
"Fuck off you disgusting pigs"
"Oh now baby girl needs to be punished"
"Leave her alone " shawn says stepping in front of me.
"Who says" one of the guys responds while stepping forward.
"Me" shawn says calmly
"What are you going to do about it"
The guy says while the other two step forward.
"This" Shawn says while he lunges at one of the guys and bits him and pulls away ripping out his throat.
Blood gushing every where. He goes for the 2nd guy but misses. And the other takes a blow at him he doges it and with ease kicks his leg inward breaking it.
All of the sudden I get pushed to the grounds and look up to see another man. Unbuttoning his pants.
I try to get up but he pushes me back to the ground. 
"I'm going to enjoy this " he says as he starts to pull down my sweats 
"I scream "shawn " and immediately after the guy slaps me. And takes out a pocket knife and says "sh sh babygirl don't cry I don't want to hurt you even more". While making a deep cut on my cheek and arm  making me cry even harder and scream bloody murder and shawns name. That must of got his attention cause next thing I know the guys is no longer on top of me but laying on the ground groaning.
While shawn on top of him punching him.
After the guy is practically dead shawn gets up and rushes to me
"Are you hurt are you ok"
"I have a deep cut on my cheek and arm"
"Ok my mom's used to be a nurse she can help you." "Y-your a vampire" I ask stuttering "yeah I am...  Hold on to me tight ok and don't let go untill I say. Okay?"
I just nod my head in fear that he might do something to me If I don't listen.
After a few seconds we come to a stop and he says "you can let go now"
"Thank you shawn"
"Of course" he says walking into a mansion with me following him
"Mom" he yells.

"Mom's not here shawn
she's at work"I hear a voice say I look to see who I'm assuming is Shawn's brother
"Garrett she needs bandages shes hurt" he says while stepping out of the way as you crinkle your nose and wince cause of the pain.
"Follow me" Garrett says
