Left and right( Todoroki and Midoriya BNHA).

Chapter 4. Relization.

(Before you read, I have skipped a bit of the original plot of the anime to get this story going.)

(Todoroki's POV)
(Cavalry battle starting)

When the signal starts, I see everyone go after Midoriya's group. Our group had a plan though. We would wait a little before attacking, hoping the other teams tired them down.

It was about five minutes until we made our move. I used my ice side to corner them. We finally grab Midoriya's headband, but I feel someone take one of mine.

"TIME'S UPPPPPPPPPP!!!!" Mic ended the game and we waited for the results, "and in first place we have Todoroki's team with ____ points! Second place we have _____ team with _____ points!
And in third place we have, oh a surprising takeover. Team Midoriya!! With _____ points!!!(Sorry. I can't remember all the info.....)

We got first place that's all that maters. Though Midoriya's team did very well considering they were everyone's target.

We all waited for the final battles while the side games are going on. I start to think about Midoriya's quirk. It's a lot like All Might's. Speak of the devil here Midoriya comes.

(Midoriya's POV)

I was walking to the cafeteria when Todoroki pulled me aside,"Ummm, is there something you need?" The tunnel was shaded and sunlight was seeping through.

"Midoriya, tell me. Are you really All Might's secret love child or something?" In my head in just laughing. I mean seriously, my dad's in America,"What?! When did you get that idea! No way." It's impossible for that to happen.

Wait, was it. I mean I've never met my dad. And All Might has been super nice to me. Like he gave me his quirk instead of giving it to someone stronger. WAIT ALL MIGHT WORKED IN AMERICA BEFORE HE GOT HERE AND MY DAD ALSO WORKED IN AMERICA! That means my dad must've known All might and put a little word in it for me.... something on the line of that.

I started to walk to the cafeteria and I got a feeling someone was watching me. Must've been my imagination.

After eating....

It was time for the tournament, finally and I was battling Shinso from the learning course. I didn't know what his quirk was, but he probably knows mine.

Then Shoji walked up to me,"Don't day a word to Shinso whatever you do" He then told me a whole story of the calvary battle.

I walked over to the doors. I kept Shoji's advice in mind. The doors open," And our other participant is Izuku Midoriya!" That was my call to head for the battle field. I reach the spot that I'm supposed to stay until we start.

"AND BEGIN!" Shinso just starts to talk,"So what's your name?" Like I would talk to him. He keeps talking and his facial expression was showing that he was getting more frustrated.

Then he starts to talk about how stupid class 1-A was and how they think they're better than everyone else. That was it, he can't just talk about them like that,"Y-" I couldn't talk, I tried to move my hand to see what was wrong but it want moving at all.

Shinso smiles, was this his quirk,"Now, turn around and walk out of the arena like any good puppy." My body starts to move, but I'm not trying to move it. I see the line that outlines the arena, wait, i was getting to close to it.

My feet wouldn't stop. I'm almost at the line when out of nowhere I see people at the entrance door. Who were they, wait that's all might! Why were those people there?

I feel a sharp pain in my fingers, the pain was too familiar, I broke my fingers. But how? I didn't even try, I grab my hand, wait I grabbed my hand! The trance wasn't working anymore!

I turn around and Shinso had a terrified look on his face. I run towards him and he starts to ask questions, but this time I wasn't falling for it.

He tried to punch me but I grab his arm and flip him. Then he gets a hold of me and punches me right in the mouth. I push him back and grab his arm again and flip him outside the ring. I won!

"And we have a winer~! Izuku Midoriya!" I walk out of the arena. The people weren't there anymore. I counted around eight people. Who were they? That was the question that stuck with me.

I got to recovery girl's office,"Well, there you are, I was expecting you!" I smiled and she healed my fingers. All Might was there too,"Ummm, All Might? I-I have something to tell you... when I was about to walk out of bounds before I snapped out of the trance, I saw eight people staring at me. But one of them was you."

I was looking down as I said this,"Well young Midoriya, this was something that happened to me around this time I got the quirk. I wouldn't let it bother you."

I smiled and left to go find my friends. It was time for Todoroki's battle. He versed Sero. I was feeling bad for myself and Sero because we both know that he isn't going to win. That means I'm going to be battling Todoroki.

After Todoroki's battle....

Todoroki won, as to be expected. We waited for all of the first round battles to end. We were the first pairing up. I was nervous but I didn't know how todoroki felt.

(Todoroki's POV)

After I melted the ice off the arena, I sat in the waiting room for my battle to start. Everything fell into place. I was positive I would be placed against Midoriya before the festival even started.

I looked at the clock, I had five minutes before my game started. I stood up and walked to the entrance area.

"Well ladies and gentlemen! We now will be starting round two of the tournament! For the first battle we have Shoto Todoroki vs. Izuku Midoriya!" We both walked out into the arena. My plan was to start off with an attack of ice. I needed to end this before I had to use my fire side.

"AND GO~!" I shot ice at Midoriya. He used his quirk to counterattack, it looks like he still doesn't have any control over his quirk still. It's like he just got it.

I keep sending ice at him and every time I do, Midoriya just deflects it. All of his fingers were definitely broken. I shoot one last ice burg at him, hoping is would finish him off. He used his mouth to counteract it. I don't know why he's doing it but he isn't going to get anywhere.

I see Midoriya say something but I can't understand it. Then I hear one thing he says,"IT'S YOUR'S! YOUR QUIRK NOT HIS!" My head thinks of the part on T.V. when All Might tells the world that you quirk is your's and you get to choose what you do with it.

I then see a shin in Midoriya's eyes. I feel like I'm blushing so I quickly cover it up with fire. Then Midoriya starts to smile. My head is blank and the only thing I can think about is winning. When I'm about to throw fire at Midoriya the one thing I can think about is, what is this feeling?
