We Meet The Invaders Of Peace

Kana's POV

We were sitting on top of the roof of her house when a guy came up to the house, 'And now Tamia is gonna fall in love and get heartbroken again. But I'll help her through it anyways-'. While I was thinking he must've seen us cause Tamia was inviting him to come up here. After he got up here he introduced himself as Percy Jackson and he was sent here to get Tamia Fay. After he said that, I started having a panic attack. 'He was gonna take my best friend away!? H-He was gonna take her away!? My only tie to Earth!?' That's when Tamia noticed what was happening and started trying to calm me down. "Kana, breathe please, it's gonna be okay, I'm not gonna leave you," I could see her mouth was moving but I couldn't hear her or make out what she was saying.

Then, after I shook my head, she took out her phone and earbuds, put an earbud in one of my ears, and turned on my favorite song, "Compass" by Lady Antebellum(A/N: The song above). That started to calm me down, but then Percy started talking, "Umm, hey, what's going on with her?" "H-He w-wants t-t-to t-take y-yo-you a-away...!?" Was what I said. "Hey, Kana, calm down, we still have to talk things out. Maybe you can come with us.?" She then turned to Percy, and asked in a serious tone, "She can come with us, right?" "I'm sorry but unless her name is Kana Cloak, she can't" When he said my name, I perked up, even though I was still experiencing a panic attack, I calmed down a little bit and said, "I-I'm Kana C-Cloak." Tamia was still hugging me, and I finally returned the hug, collapsing in her arms and falling asleep.

Tamia's POV

A few minutes after Kana fell asleep on me, Percy started saying, "well if you are both who we are looking for then we should tell your parents and get on the road to camp," Percy said. "Wait, we!?" I asked, surprised. "Yeah, me and my bro Jason. Got a problem with that?" He asked with a hint of hesitant in his voice. "No, I don't, it just makes it easier when we have to deal with her 'parents'." I said the word 'parents' with so much hatred and venom, Percy looked shocked. "Okayyyyy. Well, let's go and meet up with Jason at the super-secret spot I told him to go to an hour ago, and it's been almost an hour and a half, so let us go." He said it with such proudness, like this was the first thing he did right on purpose.

So, we got off the roof and walked for about 15 minutes. But when we got to this 'super-secret' place, which turned out to be the park, there was no 'Jason' insight. We walked around the park until Percy suddenly said, "Ah-ha!" and ran off.

A/N: Hey guys, so I hope you liked this first chapter of A Copper Heart. I'm gonna start/finish the next chapter of Where Do Freaks Come From tomorrow and hopefully get it out by the day after that. As for the other books, I'm discontinuing a bunch of them, I'll update the ones I'm discontinuing after this is uploaded. Sorry for the long break!
