-end of Season 8: 2013-
That evening, Veronica and Spencer laid in their bed in one of the tightest embraces they'd ever shared. Their chests pressed together, their legs intertwined, and their fingers dug into one another's backs. Despite the comfortable position, neither could sleep; their minds too copious for the evening.
"How were you able to love me?" Spencer quipped, needing no background for his question.
Veronica smiled against his chest, leaning her face upwards, allowing her lips to graze his jawline. "My atoms loved your atoms - it was chemistry," She grinned as a foolish giggle escaped.
Spencer chuckled, leaning his face down to rest his lips against hers, feeling the sincerity that poured from her.
Veronica wildly grinned before tackling him, her body now on top of his. Spencer's hands rested against her lower back, his eyes analyzing every detail upon her face as their noses grazed against each other.
"Honestly? We were beautiful disasters that collided at just the right moment," She whispered against his lips, closing her eyes in bliss as he slowly breathed. "We can believe in statistics and history all day long, but there are two things I'll forever be sure of – the sun will always fall for the moon, and I will always fall for you," She admitted, a tenderness emitting from her eyes as she dreamily stared into Spencer's.
Spencer playfully shook his head before scoffing, "Technically, the sun doesn't fall, it -" he abruptly stopped once seeing Veronica's raised eyebrow and teasing smirk, "Never mind," he skittishly cleared his throat.
Veronica chuckled, tracing the outline of his face with her fingertips. Spencer melted from her touch, his eyes slowly closing in
"I want to marry you right now," He adoringly whispered directly in her ear, the tip of his nose grazing her cheek.
Veronica smiled, setting her nose against his, "Three months," She heavily breathed before Spencer berated her with kisses once more, the night becoming even longer.
