I woke up to the birds chirping once again the world seemed silent. The street is bare no cars to be seen. It must be Saturday because the world seemed to die when your supposed to have fun. I remember when I was a kid who would be so happy for the weekends, but now it's just a work day. I must call in and see if I work or if I'm late. I pick up the phone to call and see a note attached reading," hey alex I'll be home later so dont wait up for me by the way your off today i already called for you i love you." I tear off the note and turn on my phone to see a text from my boss who by the way is so amazing looking like shes stunning. She and I where high school bestfriends until she and I went on our different paths after school ended. We sadly didnt keep the bond we had we are now simply coworker and boss. My bestfriend became something I could only dream of. Well since I'm off today I might aswel just play on my phone since theres nothing else to do. I pull up my pictures and scroll through the past and look at all the great times we had. When I get to the last picture we took a tear rolls down my cheek. Knowing that we would never have that bond again bothers me deeply. I wonder if she thinks about me or even talks about me or better yet remembers our past. Tears begin to fill my eyes as I cover my face in embarrassment. Wishing that I could take it all back. While I'm sobbing to old memories I hear a crash in my kitchen. I scurry up and grab a pillow for protection. I slowly walk out to see what it was and I see a pan in my living room near my tv. I walk over and kneel down to pick it up and turn around and I get blinded by a light forcing me against the wall making a loud bang noise. I try to run but I can barley see the objects have tripled and the world is all wobbly I slam the door shut and take a deep breathe looking around my room still dizzy and dazed I sit down to gather myself. i drink the water by my bed for night time and look over to the door and freeze as i see what blinded me
