She's got gray eyes.

Pretty unusual for a redhead, but they're pretty against her pale, freckled skin. Her red hair is fading to a warm brown, but still with a strong, carroty undertone. Her pale arms are dotted with freckles and scratched with scars.

She's a survivor. I like that about her.

Her teeth are straight. She just got her braces off, and her pink lips are a little awkward. They aren't used to the smoothness. I often catch her running her tongue over her teeth, feeling the lack of metal, feeling the loss of idiotic youth. Celebrating it, but with a hint of longing for different times.

Her cheeks don't blush. She wears fake gold earrings often-- they look good on her. She only has one piercing on each ear. She has sensitive skin and rarely wears makeup.

She's shy. She wears boyfriend sweaters and curls against the walls. Don't notice me.

I don't actually know if she even gives a damn, but either way, when Harper smiles, in her eyes, at least, it seems honest.
