Kate walked through her school corridors trying as hard as possible not to draw any more unwanted attention towards her. Ever since that fateful day, the stares she received from her peers never went away. It wasn't even a two seconds glance, it was no doubt a long uncomfortable stare. Fortunately for Kate, she had grown to become accustomed to this.
"Kate......Kate...!!". The voice of her chemistry teacher snapped her out of her reverie. She had a feeling it wasn't the first time he was calling out to her. "Ermm yes Sir? sorry Sir" Kate replied meekly.
"Could you at least pretend you are paying attention in my class. Your grades are not exactly fabulous and it would be beneficial if you just paid more attention in my class" By now Kate's cheeks were flaming as all the attention was centred on her, she couldn't even form a coherent sentence with all the emotions and nerves running through her. "ye...yes Sir, It w-won't hap-pe-pen again."
"Sir have a bit of pity on her, she was too busy making money last night!" Cynthia retorted. At that the whole class broke out in fits of laughter. Cynthia was a real bitch. Well what else would you expect from the head-cheerleader? This would never have happened to Kate if that day had not happened. She was a normal high school girl before that day. The day that continues to haunt her. That day she lost all her friends, well more like found out who her true ones were. Sadie and James.
However with the insecurity Kate felt, she felt it was only a matter of time before even those two deserted her. She felt lost and didn't know what to do about it.
