My superhuman society

The beginning

Lily woke up, it was 5:30 AM, she walked over to her window and looked outside. She was admiring the scenery outside when she was suddenly bitten! After that, she fainted. When she awoke she checked the time, 12:50 PM, she also saw a doctor who told her that she had been out for a couple of days and that she was bitten by a new species of snake, she was also told that there was some kind of substance left in her body but it wasn't lethal. She got up and the doctor was amazed since it should have taken months before she was able to stand up.

Lily walked out of the hospital feeling a bit dizzy and walked until she managed to get home, when she opened the door it swung open taking her by surprise. She proceeded to head upstairs, she expected herself to look thinner due to being in the hospital for a while but instead, she looked as though she had worked out all her life. She then noticed that tomorrow was a school day. So she decided that she would go to bed to get some rest for school.

She woke up for school late the next morning and had to run, to her surprise she was there in ten seconds and had overtaken her friends who set off ten minutes ago. "How weird." She said to herself. She then headed into school. She logged onto a computer and looked at her timetable. She had physical education first period. The bell rang and she headed to her lesson. After getting changed into her P.E uniform she headed out. The teacher told them that they would be doing an 800M race. She was picked to go first with the three most athletic girls and as soon as the whistle went she was at the finish line. The teacher then told her she had run that in 0.000789 seconds. She was confused as well as the rest of her class.

Later that day she was told to take a physical exam to measure her strength and speed as well as other things, the examiner found out that she had super strength, being able to destroy a literal mountain in a single punch and after a little amount of training she learned how to control her speed perfectly and could also control her strength pretty well but she could also put bits of her strength in spirits that would then give whatever the user put them on the strength temporarily or permanently if the user decided that.

**A COUPLE MONTHS LATER**
it was coming up to Lily's 16th birthday and she had just about mastered her powers. She then headed downstairs and turned on the TV and saw some other person with powers destroying so apartments and stealing people's belongings so she headed there to deal with the criminal, it seemed he had the ability to turn giant, she got there within a second and attacked them, the stumbles backwards a bit but overall wasn't very hurt. "I'm gonna squash you like the bug you are!" The criminal roared. "You gain a superpower and use it to commit a crime?" Replied Lily "this is why I will never understand some people, anyway should I get serious?" The criminal attempted to swat her but she just punched his hand away. She jumped right up to his face and readied her punch, she then realised she didn't have a cool name for her punch so she tried to think of what to name it, and since she had been reading a lot of my hero academia she decided to take inspiration from all might, "YORKSHIRE PUNCH!"

That day she was all over the news, she gave a short talk about how you shouldn't do crime and left, this person wasn't likely the last person that would use superpowers to commit crimes. She lied down to rest and looked at the news, yet again someone was using superpowers for crime, she stood up and headed off. She reached the bank that was being robbed and there was a guy spraying a jet stream of water all over the place, which was strong enough to destroy the vaults door. She went towards him and knocked him out easily but someone flew in and took him away as well as some money from the vault and in her mind she heard a voice saying "See ya sucker!" She just jumped up and threw him to the ground and then handed him to the police.

When she got home she finally managed to rest as she saw on the news other people were using their powers for good, most of them were adults but there were some younger people as well, she then decided to go to sleep. The next morning she was 16! She celebrated her birthday by fighting crime like the hero she was! The next villain was one made completely of stone which didn't take long to beat, she only had to punch it and it was beaten.
