Words Hurt. Part One.
The lights flickered on and off as Ariella Ashman woke up from a deep sleep. "Another day , another dawn." said Ariella. She ignored the obnoxious flickering lights like they were something that didn't matter. That's because they didn't to her. Ariella was different from all of the other girls in Pine Valley Middle School. All of the girls there wore globs of dark black mascara all over their eye lashes with bright red lipstick, trying to impress jocks on the Pine Valley football team. Ariella didn't care what anybody thought of her. "Those girls try too hard" Ariella would say to herself in the hallways, watching them put on their unpleasent makeup. Ariella seems confident, but she's not confident all of the time. Ariella was a main target. A target for bullying. Everyone loves to bully her, even though it's not kind. Everyday, Mackenzi Talaberto would throw hurtful words at Ariella Ashman like a baseball player would throw at home plate. "You're too ugly for this school. My dog goes to a K-9 school right up the street. You should apply there". Mackenzi would say. As everyone would laugh as hard as they possibly could, Ariella Ashman would make a quick dash down the long narrow hallways before Mackenzi Talaberto could kill her confidence and embarress he even more. Ariella swore that she would get Mackenzi back one day. She just couln't tell when, but she knew it would be soon. Ariella walked onto her bright yellow , tween filled bus and plugged in her earphones listening to her favorite song. A Thousand Years by Christina Perrie. Ariella was plotting her revenge while moving her pale pink lips to the music. Ariella wouldn't give up on her revenge.
