"Di, wait up!" I heard a male voice call from behind me. Suddenly, I felt someone tug at my belt loop.
"A.J, would you stop being such a perv and leave people's belt loops alone?" I said, glaring at my blonde best friend.
"What did you expect? You won't pay attention, so that's the only way I could get it. So, what are you doing this afternoon?"
I shot him the death glare because of his stupid question. "I'm doing the same thing you are, practicing. You get on my nerves. Did you know that?" He closed his eyes and tapped his chin.
"Hm, I don't seem to recall that," he said with a smirk on his face. Even though he's my best friend, I hate him sometimes.
Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dianna Ariel Fitzgerald. Everyone calls me Di. And the idiot I call my best friend is Adrian Jacob Smith aka A.J. And don't forget the period between the letters. He's such a girly guy.
"Who are you calling girly?" A.J asked. He knows me so well that he can tell what I'm thinking. It's like he can read my mind...
"Hey, don't forget to be decent at practice tonight. And maybe look pretty. My brothers are coming." My head shot up.
"So I finally get to meet the elusive Smith siblings. How have I not met them before?" Yes, we've been best friends for 16 years and I've never met his siblings. Every time I ask him when I'll meet them he gives me a sly smile and says "You'll meet them when you're ready." It's starting to get annoying.
"Wait, why are they coming to practice? You don't like when people watch us practice" I say, confused.
"They're my brothers. They're different than normal people. I gotta go, but I'll see you later. Oh, and don't wear what you normally wear. Please?" he asked, pleading.
"Fine. Only because I love you."
