It's not Safe

A week passed, and Adele's mind weighed heavily on what had unfolded the week before. She was upset at herself for not listening to Luca. Everything could have turned out differently, but there was nothing she could do. The worst had happened, and now she needed to focus on something else. Normally, work would do this for her, but Luca and the others refuse to allow her to work in the hospital or clinic. Therefore, she needed something else to ease her mind... a new career and Luca was pushing her toward business. Although she had no interest in it, he wanted her to run the fashion house. So, Adele found herself in front of his computer, looking at online colleges.

It wasn't where she thought she would be at this point in her life. Yet, she was filling out a college form with the information Luca had given to her. She was Rhita Köhler on paper but still held the same social and birthday. It was weird, but Adele didn't let it bother her but the message that popped up on Luca's computer did. She tried not to snoop, but curiosity got the best of her, causing Dele to open it immediately as she became pissed.

'Hey, babe, I know you're busy, but we haven't talked in a while. I miss you dearly, and I know you need to release some stress... call me xoxo Tori.'

Adele didn't have a reason to get upset, but something about the message pissed her off. It could have been the pregnancy hormones getting to her, but she took a deep breath and thought about her next move since the woman wanted to meet with Luca. That was what Adele was going to let her believe as she met the barrel of her gun. She didn't have the patience for another one of Luca's old whores, so she messaged her back.

'Meet me in about 30 minutes at the penthouse... the one at the Hilton, and wear something sexy.'

Afterwards she received heart emojis, making Adele smiled to herself as she texted Axel to come to the office. Apart of her was happy and the other part was angry at Luca... he belonged to her. Adele only wished others would see that, and if she had to force it on them, that was what she would do with Axel's help.

"Kleine, I'm not cooking. Luca can do the same shit as me, but you always choose to torture me with tasks that should be your husband's."

"That's not what I wanted you for. Some bitch name Tori send Luca a message. She wanted to help, and I quote, 'Help him relieve some stress.' So, I'm about to help her hoe ass meet Jesus. She's to meet us in thirty... Let's go." Except Axel stood there staring at her like she had lost her mind. Adele was serious, but the man before her stepped forward and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"That's not a good idea."

"Why the fuck not?"

"Because Luca never slept with a girl named Tori. I told you I kept tabs on my son. Most of the time, Luca thought he was sneaking about, but he wasn't. I know the names of every female my son, Erik, and nephews slept with. I knew where they were and what they were doing all the time. Just like how I knew the two of you were going to Sylt, even when he failed to tell me. But that's beside the point... and trust me when I say this, Adele. Luca never fucked anyone by that name. Therefore, something is wrong."

Adele didn't think about it that way. If it were one of Luca's old whores, they would know he hated hotels which meant that they would have suggested elsewhere. Axel was right; something was wrong, which meant someone was hacking their systems, causing Axel to quickly text Luca and the others as Adele covered the webcam. Seconds later, she unplugged the desktop, shut off the laptop, and closed it.

"Adele, what were you doing before you received the message?"

"Searching for an online college to attend." She spoke as she thought about how the person never messaged back. "Axel, if someone hacked into our database, wouldn't that mean they hacked into all the cameras and security of our homes?"
