the sun was shining as little (name) ran out of her house to go find her best friend. she had waited so long to go and play with him since her mom does not let her on week days, since she needs to be focused on school, even though she was a 1st grader.
"mama, ima go see keiji, okay?" She asked her mom, who was making fresh pie for the two to enjoy if akaashi's mom lets him come over to their house.
"okay, (name), have fun!" her mother replied and within seconds, the tiny (hair color)-haired girl ran out of her house and ran to her friend's house.
(name) had remembered her mother's words to be very careful when crossing the street, since if she was not, she would probably regret it.
but the only thing that (name) was thinking about was seeing akaashi, so she ran across the little road that was right in front of akaashi's house.
if only (name) had kept in mind what her mother had told her before she left that house, maybe she would be happy with akaashi at his house, playing games with him.
if only she remembered what she had said before any of this had happened. because as soon as her foot hit the ground of the road, a car had came and hit her.
