Time Traveling star (Jjba fanfic Jotaro x Kakyoin)

Chapter 10 : Lay down.

  Cigarette smoke curls in an elegant way in the clear sky, small puddles of water on the ground formed by the rain reflected the image of gray smoke and blue sky. A red haired man, and a black haired woman were talking.

- You know that your dad will hate this...he is so...selfish..."

- I won't tell him about Jotaro and me dating. Even if he's going to eventually know one day, I want to hide our relationship from him...I know that if he learns about it, he's going to be mad...and he will beat me like he always does." Kakyoin is sitting on the concrete steps of the back alley.

- You know how much it pains me to know your father abuses you. Though I can't do anything about it. Since he is so strong with his weird power...

- His stand..." Noriaki corrects her.

- Yeah a 'stand'." Jill drags from her cigarette.

- I really can't beat him... he might not be very strong himself, but he could get rid of anyone quickly with his stand...I wonder if Jotaro could even lay a finger on him..." Kakyoin stares at the ground.

- From what you've told me, he has the power to 'inject' substances into any living thing around him...That's how he did..this..to you." Jill looks down, she doesn't even know what to think about Noriaki's father, after what he did to his son.

- I don't want to talk about it...or even to think about it..."

- He is clearly trying to break you mentally or even to push you to suicide..."

- Heh...guess he almost succeeded in that...

- Don't tell me you..." Jill looks at Noriaki with worry.

- It doesn't matter, I'm better today, I have Jotaro, his grandfather and his mom. And I got you too."

   Jill was indeed a great emotional support for him, even back when it was his mom who was the most in need of comfort, Jill was always here for them. In fact, she cares deeply for the pair of redheads. So when she learned about what Noriaki's father did to him, she nearly destroyed the bar out of anger. But right now, she is going through a hard time, she just learned that her ex died of a terrible disease. Jill still loves her ex, but their relation is quite complicated. That's why she is so exhausted mentally, even if she's trying to move on, it's very hard for her.

- Kak, you tried to...kill yourself ?

  Noriaki doesn't answer. He simply looks away, almost ashamed of what he tried to do.

- Kak, tell me what you did." Jill takes him by the shoulders, staring into his eyes.

- No, It's alright. Look, I'm alive, with no sequels. You shouldn't worry to much about it...believe me, mother took care of scolding me, there is no need for me to hear this kind of speech again..." Kakyoin reassures his friend.

Jill sighs and releases Kakyoin's shoulders before throwing her cigarette away.

-"I hope you understand that what you tried is not the solution...

- I told you I already received a big lecture about this..." Kakyoin cuts the barmaid's sentence.

- Alright..." Jill sighs again "we should go inside...your boyfriend is waiting for us."

  The barmaid goes up the concrete steps but suddenly feels her wrist restrained. She looks back and sees that it was Noriaki who was holding her back.

- Please, don't tell Jotaro about this...he doesn't need to know about me trying to commit suicide and...the other thing..." The redhead stares at the barmaid's eyes, almost begging her.
