Today was a special night, for today was a celebration for the king, for he had successfully won a brutal battle against the chinese. The room glistened with its beautiful brown floor. The loud chatter filled the crowd, the laughter echoed through the walls. The beautiful music rang through their ears,The king sat patiently in his thrown waiting for his pathetic maid to approach him. The little maid pushed through gaps, she rushed over to the king and bowed.

"Sorry sir, crowded ain't it?" America said with a nervous smile.

"Drink.now" Soviet said coldly

"Right away sir" America said, bowing before Rushing through the crowd

She made her way through the small openings of people trying to hurry. The time she had was limited, being even a minute late meant bruises and scars. She pushed and shoved the crowd with death glares and disgusted looks from them, she didn't mind it. America finally made it through the crowd, she ran to big brown doors and pushed them open. She headed down the empty hallway with her footsteps loudly echoing though the halls. She burst through the kitchen doors almost out of breath.

"J-Japan *huff* I need *huffs* a drink for Soviet!!" America basically shouted out of breath

Japan hurried over steadily with a steel, flat, and circular tray. There was a polished glass bottle with a clear liquor in it, America balanced the tray in the palm of her hand. America thanked Japan before speed walking to the big doors, she hurried down the empty hallway trying to keep balance. The big doors appeared in view as America stumpled to them, she push the doors open with her head and chest. She slowly walk through the doors passing royal leaders, she sighed knowing she needed to be careful. She turned sideways getting through the woman and their giant fancy dresses, she faced forward again walking steadily. She suddenly tripped face planting into the shiny and hard floor, the tray slipped from her hand landing harshly on the ground making a loud thud. The glass shattered across the floor startling everyone, America lifted her face which now had blood coming from her nose. She rested one arm on the ground and the other had its elbow up. She went to get up until.....the loud footsteps stopped her straight in her tracks. She hesitated before looking up, there stood the king with a cold and deadly glare.

"S-sir, my apologies" America said, blood dripped from her chin.

"Apologizes huh? Well I suppose I could forgive you, right?" Soviet said, a smirk formed on his face

America faced darkened, tears swelled in her eyes. She stood up shakily facing her leaders cold stare, she stood up straight putting her hands behind her back, she closed her eyes ready for impact. Everyone stood waiting for her punishment to began, yet one did not seem amused by this. Mexico, Soviets lovely wife who he dared not hit.

"Soviet, love" Mexico said, wrapping her hands around Soviets arm

"Please, no violence. At least not right now" Mexico sweetly said

"Alright my dear" Soviet said with a sigh, he gave America one last glare before heading to his thrown

Mexico gave a small smile to America which America gave a nod in return. She sighed noticing all the eyes that were on her, she didnt look at them, not once. She stood straight, bowing at the leaders before leaving the quiet room, she walked into the empty hallways trying to clean the blood from her face. Each touch lead to a painful flare, she hissed everytime her soft fingers made contact with her bloody face. She sighed, this was her life for more than six years, she started working for him at age sixteen. She was young and desperate, her parents were losing hope faith. They had no money, no food, and barely made anything with their poor jobs. She was determined to find a well paid job, that was until a splendid offer was handed to her. Working for their kingdoms king as a maid or servant. She couldn't be happier, her heart was overwhelmed with joy. Except the fact that she didnt know anything about her kings violence and anger, so explaining it to her parents broke their hearts. They begged her not to take the job but she did anyway.

"Америка!! Are you alright!?" A deep Russian accent shouted to America, their voice echoed

America snapped out of her thoughts and turn to the deep voice. She quickly bowed with her face heating up with a deep shade of red.

"P-Prince Russia, how may I help you sir?" America stuttered, she stood straight putting her arms behind her back

"Америка, I told you. You can call me Russia" Russia's deep voice said, he smiled lightly

"If you wish, sir" America said, a bright red shade coated her skin

Russia cupped her face and examined it, his face showed concern. He used his sleeve to wipe off the fresh blood dripping off her chin "Америка what happened?"

"Just fell, sir" America said, standing as still as a statute

"Are you okay?" Russias voice softened

"Unfortunately sir, this talk with you has been pleasant. But I must clean up the mess and.....my face, and!....you know my time is limited so I must be heading now" America nervously said.

"нет! I-um.....need you to help! Yeah yeah,I need you to.....help me" Russia said, he stopped to think in the middle of it

"And If i may ask, what is it you need my help for?" America said, keeping her polite tone

"To......clean my room!" Russia said through a blush

"You come first sir! I'll get on it right away!" America said through a smile, she bowed to Russia and walked beside him

Russia went beside her, trying to control himself. America stood straight and tall in front of the prince, showing her respect.

"America, may I watch you?" Russia kindly said like it wasnt a weird question

"If you wish, my kind si-"

"Russia" Russia said sternly

"If you wish, R-Russia" America said, blush covering her stripes

America looked at the corner of her eye to see Russias warm smile directly at her. She quickly looked up ahead, she heard a small and cute chuckle making her blush furiously. She took deep breaths throughout the trip to the princes room until finally meeting up with a hard wood door. The door had deep blue swirls decorating the bland brown doors. After staring awhile, she used one hand to push the door open, politely letting the prince in first.

Mexico held her husband's hand gently, rubbing her thumb against his knuckles. He was tensed and angry, soothing him was difficult but Mexico always managed to calm him down.

"My love, why so tense?" Mexico said, she used her soothing voice as gently as possible

"The worthless citizen I call my servant" Soviet said through his teeth

Mexico wasnt pleased with theses words. In fact, it pissed her off. She kept her cool and only gave Soviet a gentle respond

"Shes just trying to please you"

"Ugh, well it ain't working" Soviet said, rolling his eyes

Mexico gave a smile before turning to the crowd, she wasn't enjoying these precious time. Large crowds and tiny rooms made her panick, She broke once in front of her servant. She held her chest and sobbed on the ground, America was the only one who managed to calm her down. Reason why they became bestfriends behind the kings back.

The chatter filled the room, but silence wrapped around the king and queen.

"My dear, why aren't you enjoying yourself" Soviet said, glancing to his wife

Mexico turned her head, she gave smile reassuring that she was okay. He, unfortunately, gave a frown.

"Dont worry about me, my love" Mexico said, once again reassuring him.

"Today is a celebration my dear, why dont you cherish it?" Soviet asked sweetly, titling his head

"Dont have much energy today, my love" Mexico replied, giving a simple answer

Soviet nodded, turning to the crowd. Mexico stared off into the distance, she hoped her friend was okay. She saw the dark blood run down her face and the disgusted looks. She hated when people judge with their eyes, for she knew what the maid was going through.
