3rd Person POV all story(unless stated otherwise)!
"What the fuck?! Who- I- you- mom- WHAT THE HELL?" Yelled a voice.
Deku, Bakugou and Kirishima had gathered in the hall outside of Todoroki's room, debating over who would break the door down. They'd attempted to knock, but it went unnoticed because of all the yelling. Everyone else was starting to crowd them, asking what was going on.
After a minute, Bakugou had gotten annoyed and simply blew up the door. What they saw in the room was unbelievable.
There was two boys- a white haired one and a red haired one. They looked just like Todoroki, but not at all like him at the same time.
The red-haired one was the one who's been yelling the whole time. He was also crying, and both his hands were on fire. The other had made an ice wall between them, obviously meaning no harm and just trying to defend himself. He had an expressionless face, though.
"Todoroki??" Deku was bewildered. Both of the Shoto lookalikes were immediately surprised at the sound of Midoriya's voice, their quirks out of use in an instant. Their heads turned to look at the green-haired boy.
"Midoriya?" They both asked in unison. They sounded exactly like Todoroki himself. Iida was right behind Deku, beginning to understand what was going on.
"H-how do you know my name? Have we met before?" Izuku was unbeknownst to however they could have known his name.
The red-haired one stepped closer slowly and with anticipation. With a closer look, everyone noticed that he had the same burn mark over his left eye as Todoroki, but in a bit of a better condition.
"M-Midoriya.. please, don't you remember me? You know me! I can't look that different, can I?!" He had stopped crying when Deku made himself known in the scene, but now the redhead was gonna start again. He looked so hurt, it made Deku want to cry too.
"Stop crying. Crying is weakness." The white-haired one said, "I want to stay like this forever. Stay away from me, alright? Midoriya, don't let him touch you. He's out of control. Unpredictable. He could hurt you, so beware."
Even Bakugou thought that was uncalled for. He'd been giving the tiniest amount of respect to everyone to see how it would work out, and it'd been going good. He decided to step in.
"Shut up, no-name! Whoever you are, I don't give a damn! How do you know Deku and why are you here, because I have never seen you in our stupid class before!"
"Remember that I beat you once before, Bakugou. I can do it again, especially now that I don't have that other half attached to me." He pointed toward Red Hair. Kirishima called him out for being unmanly. The guy didn't care.
"Where's Half 'n Half?!" Demanded Bakugou.
"Right here, damnit. I'm just the part of him that never, ever had any intention to or interest in following in my father's footsteps. I know better." Everyone was shocked to hear that. Iida was the first to process that.
"But Midoriya said that it's our quirk! It's not his!" Butted one Red Hair.
"It's from him. I don't want his shit." White Hair was very.. displeased, it seemed. Tenya chose to speak up.
"I get it. These are both Shoto Todoroki, but he was split into two different forms and/or versions of himself. One seems to have control over his ice quirk, the other his fire quirk. What I'm wondering is how this could have happened." All the students in the crowd stared at him, shocked. Then Kirishima exclaimed,
"Well then! You can be Todo," he pointed at White Hair, "And you can be Roki!" Kirishima pointed at Red Hair.
'Todo' raised an eyebrow. "Really? That's stupid. Honestly, I-"
"I like it!" Interrupted the more emotional half. "I don't think it's stupid at all."
"Your opinions don't matter. All you do is follow and do whatever father says to."
"We both follow father! We have to, you know what happens when we don't!" Roki was on the verge of tears. Again. Bakugou didn't understand why he cried so much. Kirishima was kind of worried for him.
Uraraka, whom had forced her way through the crowd, saw the scene and then ran to get Aizawa. Eijiro and Deku were trying to calm Roki, whom was starting to go into an immense panic from memories and anxiety. He was now crying and pushed himself against the wall, slightly hyperventilating.
"What the hell is up with you?" Bakugou asked Todo, "Why do you hate your other half when he is part of you?! It's stupid!"
"Oh, stop raging. He's the one that loses control. He has so much emotional baggage, it's unbearable. There's a reason that everyone hates us, and it's him and that damn quirk."
"HE IS YOU, DAMNIT!"
"He is not. No. We are very different."
"YOU-" Before Katsuki could finish his sentence, Iida butted in,
"Yes, you are immensely different. Yet you are the same person. That will not change. You should not shun your other quirk just because you inherited it from a certain person, Todo.
"It's not just that! If I become better than my father without using that fucking fire quirk, I can show him that I don't need him!"
"You're rejecting yourself in a way, you know that, right?"
"Obviously. I'm not stupid. No matter what anyone says, I'm not fucking stupid. Not everyone likes what, who, or where they are, but I'm one of the few that can finally fix all of it. We can go back to normal and he doesn't have to be there. 'Roki' only reminds me of how much like my father I am. How in the future, I could become whatever the fuck you'd label him as." Iida took note that Todo could either get more annoyed and angrier or simmer down back to an almost emotionless state. He figured that he'd rather the latter, so he began to try and, instead of debate Todo, reason with and listen to him.
"Well, why do you hate your father so much?"
"You're an idiot, Iida. I hate everything about him. His personality. His motives. How he treats me and my fucking family. I hate every single fucking aspect. Including that damn quirk." He gestured towards Roki, who was still having a breakdown, but beginning to settle. Tsuyu had arrived to the scene as well.
"How does he treat you?"
"Like shit. All because we were put together into the full Shoto Todoroki. We're 'perfect', isn't that right, Roki?" This made the other half more upset, but Todo was getting a bit better. Bakugou was about to butt in, but Tenya goes to cover his mouth. Todo continued without noticing, having closed his eyes before he started speaking. "Of course I'm right. Father has always been an open book, but there's never been much to read. He hates practically anything that we do and sees any and every mistake possible. That's why we're punished so often, Roki. Because you never shut your goddamn mouth! You are so scared and hurt all the time. You're so fucking weak! You never stand up for yourself, and when you do, you do it wrong. You do it with fire. That's what he wants, remember? You are an absolute moron, Mr. Endeavor-the-second."
That made Roki sob and weep, broken-like. "I'm- I'm sor-ry! I don't mean- mean it! I just want to get along! You never- you never want t-to though! WHY CAN'T WE BE HAPPY?!"
"BECAUSE YOU EXIST, AND I CANNOT LIVE WITH MYSELF KNOWING THAT YOU ARE ME TOO! I CAN'T LIVE WITH MYSELF HAVING THE KNOWLEDGE THAT HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE. THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A PIECE OF HIM IN MY BODY TO REMIND ME THAT I CAN NEVER ESCAPE FROM THE MEMORIES OF HIM! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU WITH MY FLESH AND BONE, MY WHOLE BEING! YOU CAUSED THIS!"
Roki has his head in his hands, clutching his hair. Kirishima, Tsuyu and Deku were all trying to comfort him while Bakugou was wanting to murder him. It was very angering. Tenya Iida understood, to a point, where he was coming from though.
Then Aizawa and All Might appeared.
What do you think? I like this one, it's fun! Really long chap, too!
