We are the Special Ones, the Gifted, the All-Powerful.

What a load of shit. If we were anything like that, our race wouldn't be dying like it is. We are Elementals. The most prized of our realms, and the most hated. We have powers over everything. We can control essentially, elements. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Metal, just about everything really. We were once wise leaders, then the Humans, got upset and could have killed us by sheer numbers. This happened long before i was born, my Father(our king) was killed and we were sent into a life of exile and a destiny as mercenaries and bodyguards. Our race was dying. My sister had just had her first child, but he is not showing any signs of power, that's what happens when you mate with a Human, your child is like them, weak, their children, like us, and it follows like that, generation to generation. But they are weaker, not like their ancient ancestors, they are a new breed altogether, only able to use one element to their advantage. Loser mutants.

My friend  Caddock walked up to be lightly, he had short black hair with an odd natural lime green streak running through it,  amazing emerald green eyes, tan skin, tall, well muscled, and his traditional Clan necklace passed down through his family for years. He was gourgous, he brought me into his arms lightly, giving me a big hug. I sunggled into his arms and burrowed my face into his shoulder. He said in his deep barrirtone, " I've missed you my darling, hunting isn't as fun without your ice shards hurtling into any animal we see."

I rolled my eyes and replied easily, " I'm surprised you managed to bring anything home with you getting excited and making fires burning creatures beyond eating."

He laughed easily and took my hand, leading me to the Weapons Room. Training, right, i forgot about the stupid weapons training, Caddock's Father was our General, he taught weapons and some basic elements to our villagers. Living on a mountain? Across a thousand-foot wide, fast running, river? My Mother picked this spot as our capital right after my father died.

whatever, i sighed easliy and eyed the millions of swords and other deadly objects hanging on the walls

let me know if you like it! if u do, i'll keep going!!!

I drew my double swords and prepared for the on coming attack that would surely follow. I was right, i sighed while ten armed men came at me. In our culture, even women must be trained in battle, as soon as a child could hold a sword, boom, training. We had to, but i prefered using my powers. I slashed at my enimeies and one tried to throw fireballs at me, I blew them away, and broke the edges of his sword off, sending them hurtling after him. Then i realized, he could only control fire... Shit! I took down the metal's power, and apolofgized quicly between blows. He was cut up, but not dead. Ninth time this month i've done that, sigh.
