//a week later//

Today Lamar and Miguel were going to trial. I got up and took a shower. I changed into a black long sleeve shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans with a black blazer. I dried my hair and left it wavy. I slipped on a pair of black keds and walked out. "do you want breakfast?" Antonio asked. "no thank you" I said. He was wearing a black blazer with a pair of black jeans with a white shirt and black shoes. "alright let's go" Antonio said and we walked out of the apartment and into the car.

We arrived at the court house and saw that Voigt, Erin, Naria, Jay, Adam,Sarg, Atwater, Burgess and Olinsky were already in the audience. "c'mon Derek is here" Antonio said and we walked over to where Derek Montreal the lawyer was sitting. "how are you feeling?" Derek asked me. "I wanna puke and I don't want to be here, so great" I said and gave him a fake smile. "it'll be over soon" Derek said and patted my back.

"All rise for your honor Mackenzie Wilson" the guard said and we all stood up.

After the opening argument Derek and I stood up. "Miss Alexandria Marquez please come to the stand" Judge Wilson said and I walked up to the front. "do you promise to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?" The security guard asked as I placed my hand on the bible.

"Yes" I said and sat down. "miss Marquez you attend the same school as Miguel Santos and Lamar Dekalb correct?" Derek asked. "yes" I said. "same math class?" Derek asked. "yes I sat behind them" I said. "what did they say to you on your first day?" Derek asked. "they asked me for my number" I said. "in what form did they ask you?" Derek asked. "hey yo girl let me get you number" I said. "did you give them your number?" Derek asked. "no, I told them to leave me alone and they left me alone until after class I was walking with Brayden and they harassed me and I confronted them and told them to back off" I said. "and after this they left you alone?" Derek asked. "yes, for a few days until two weeks ago" I said. "what happened two weeks ago?" Derek asked. "Two weeks ago my uncle's home was broken into, my uncle was away and I was home alone, I had been out with a friend and when I came back around ten I heard something outside, I ignored it but then I heard voices outside my door. They were four males and they tried to break into my home, i called my friend and he let me stay in his home. The surveillance camera showed that William Alabett, Isaac Valdemar, Lamar Dekalb and Miguel Santos. They had broken into my house and left a message on the wall" I said.

"may I see the message?" judge Wilson asked. "here you go" Derek said and handed the judge the pictures. "Go on" The judge said. "I went to live with Hank Voigt while my room was fixed, the day I was raped I went to school and I saw a note on my desk that said "no one will hear you scream" I threw it away and ignored it. That day my uncle couldn't pick me up so I walked home alone. I was held from behind by someone, he told me that if I screamed he would kill me. I elbowed him and ran but there was somebody was waiting and they grabbed me and took me back, they took me to an ally where they removed their hoods, it was Lamar and Miguel. Lamar held me while Miguel unzipped my jacket" I said and took a deep breath before continuing. "Miguel raped me first and then Lamar, they left me there, a couple minutes later Kim Burgess found me and took me to the hospital" I said. "here are the results" Derek said and handed the judge the tests. "Miguel's and Lamar's semen were found" Derek said. "very well Derek you may have a seat, Andrew you may ask your questions" the judge said.

"Alexandria, did you ever do something that may have mislead Miguel or Lamar?" Andrew asked. "no" I said. "even if it's the smallest thing, do tell" Andrew said. "I said no" I said. "now did you say no?" Andrew asked. "yes, I said no various times!" I shouted. "order in the court" The judge said. "I said no various times" I repeated. "loud enough?" Andrew asked. "yes" I said firmly. "that's it your honor" Andrew said and walked back to his chair. "ladies and gentlemen of the jury, decide on a verdict" the judge said," court dismissed we'll join again in an hour" the judge said and we got up and walked out.

"I have a good feeling about this" Antonio said as we finished eating.

"Alright time to get back" Derek said and we walked back to the court house.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury what is your verdict?" The judge asked. "in account of rape of the minor Alexandria Marquez the jury finds the accused Miguel Santos and Lamar Dekalb guilty" one of the jurors said. "Miguel and Lamar are sentenced to ten years in prison, court dismissed" the judge said. "thank you" I said and hugged Derek and Antonio. "this isn't the last time you'll hear of me doll!" Miguel shouted as get took him away. "don't worry he can't hurt you anymore" Antonio said and hugged me.

"Didn't I tell you we would put those guys behind bars" Voigt said and hugged me. "we have to celebrate this" Adam said. "I have a bottle of champagne" Antonio said. "Lets go!" Adam said and we all walked out towards our car.

"Well I want to thank everyone for staying by my side, Kim I want to thank you for finding me and helping me, Antonio for taking me in when I needed it the most and everyone for accepting me into your family" I said. "you fight for family" Olinsky said. "to us" I said and raised my glass. "To us" everyone said and clinked their glasses together.
