Endless Love ("Neiko")

Out of Love

Seiko was about to speak, but before she could say anything Naomi hugged her tightly.

"N-Naomi?"

Naomi just held her and layed her head on Seiko's shoulder.

She whispered, "I love you too, Seiko..."

Seiko pryed herself from Naomi's grasp. Naomi pouted and crossed her arms.

Seiko shook her head, "Wait what?"

Naomi chuckled and answered Seiko, "I said I loved you, idiot."

Seiko didn't know what was happening, "This is a dream isn't it?" She looked around. "It's a dream, I bet."

Naomi started laughing, "It's not a dream, Seiko." She smiled softly at her.

"Are you sure?"

Naomi just nodded in response. Seiko threw her hands up over her head and jumped up in joy.

"She likes me back!"

Naomi watched Seiko celebrate and thought to herself, Still as childish as ever.

Naomi chuckled and shook her head.

"Seiko?"

Seiko stopped and looked at Naomi.

"Yeah?"

"What are you doing?"

"Celebrating!"

"Why?

"Because you like me back!" Seiko lunged herself at Naomi and held her tight.

Naomi just chuckled and hugged her back.

"You're so dumb."

"Maybe, but it doesn't matter. I'm the happiest person alive!" Seiko let go and smiled at Naomi.

"C'mon let's go home." Naomi got her bag, grabbed Seiko's hand, and started running towards her house.

"Naomi slow down!"

"Now you see how I felt this morning!"

"Fair enough!" Seiko started sprinting and got ahead of Naomi.

Naomi tried to catch up, but to no avail. She ran behind Seiko. Seiko tripped over her own feet and fell against the hard concrete.

Naomi caught up to Seiko, breathless, "Are you...okay?"

Seiko sat up and tried to stand up. She fell right back down.

"Ow..."

"You must've twisted your ankle."

Naomi stood up and looked down to Seiko. She looked ahead and thought to herself, It's not that long a walk... I guess I could carry her to my house. Naomi kneeled down beside Seiko.

"Seiko put your arm around my shoulder."

"Why?"

"Just do it."

Seiko shrugged her shoulders and did as Naomi asked. Naomi then proceeded to put her own arm under Seiko's legs and around her back.

"Naomi what're you doing?"

"Carrying you home."

"Y-You don't have to!"

"I don't care, I'm doing it anyways."

Seiko sighed and Naomi lifted her off the ground. Naomi started walking towards her house with Seiko in her arms.

My gosh, Seiko. You're heavy... Naomi thought to herself.
