Izuku has just turned four and woke up at 3 am to wake up his parents. he ran out of his room slamming his door behind him with excitement he shook his parents Inko and Hisashi Midoriya awake

"MOM, MOM WAKE UP. TODAY I GET MY QUIRK," Shouted a wide-awake Izuku

"Shut up brat. We have 12 hours until we have to be at the hospital. now go back to sleep before I put you to sleep," Said Hisashi. his voice made Izuku scared. he knew all too well, that he used that voice when he was getting ready to beat his mom. Izuku backed up slowly, shaking. His dad reared up and shouted as he got in Iuku's face, "WELL BOY GET BACK TO BED."

But, all Izuku could do was stand there because even though he knew he would get hurt he had a hunch that his mom was awake and he wanted her to know that he could stand up for himself. So he held his ground. He stumbled over his words but he got them out nonetheless, "D-don't do this you will regret it eventually."

"BOY, DON'T TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD AND SHOULDN'T DO. YOU AREN'T THE ADULT, I AM," Shouted Hisashi Followed by a loud slap and a crying Izuku. He went to his room after that and cried himself to sleep even though he knew it was coming it still hurt. After that, he went to sleep. Izuku woke up an hour before they were supposed to go to the hospital he took a shower brushed his teeth tried to comb his hair cause his dad hated it when it was not combed and thought 'God I need a haircut' when he couldn't get it combed he gave up and got dressed he went to the scale to if his weight changed any but no it didn't so he went to his parents they were in another argument he didn't want it to get out of hand cause his dad was slowly getting more and more pissed though he didn't show just how mad he was until he snapped and slapped mom.

she said in a disappointed tone, "Now we're going to be late." she walked to the bathroom. Izuku felt a huge wave of sadness burst through the whole house though he couldn't hear any crying and wasn't feeling sad 'then what was it' Izuku thought when mom got out of the bathroom she didn't have the slap mark anymore Izuku didn't either because part of his morning routine was putting makeup on to cover whatever bruises and marks he may have gotten from his dad. they were soon on their way to the hospital so they could hopefully make it on time.

They arrived just in time. They waited in line signed in the doctor said, "you arrived just in time the doctor is waiting for you, go on in. room 105" They nodded went to see the doctor. They arrived in room 105 and Izuku sat down on the stool and waited for the doctor. The doctor knocked on the door and entered. the doctor sanitized his hands and put gloves on. He then walked over to Izuku his parents were in the room. He turned to Izuku's parents and stated kindly, "excuse me, but I would like to test him one on one." Izuku let out a silent sigh. He was getting nervous under his dad's deadly glare. After my parents left he turned to me and said, " Hello, my name is Dr. Adams. What is yours?"

"Hello, my name is Izuku Mydoriya you can call me Izuku," Said Izuku with a smile on his face

"Okay, Izuku I'm going to ask you a few questions and ask you to try a few things," stated Dr. Adams

Izuku nodded with a smile on his face. After all the questions with no success. The doctor said with an excited gleam in his eyes "Okay Izuku, I'm going to take an x-ray of your entire body then if that doesn't work we'll take an MRI to see if there is something wrong or if it's just a special quirk. Oh, how I hope it's a special quirk. It has certainly long been a time since I've seen a special quirk." when he got done with the x-ray he looked at it and saw there was still room for more growth in between the bones like his body is waiting for something, something to appear. "Okay, Izuku we are going to do those MRIs now," said Dr. Adams when they were done Izuku saw that he looked shocked. The doctor then asked him a couple of questions about feelings he has had lately mostly about emotions he felt lately so Izuku started explaining, "I feel an overwhelming urge to protect the people I care about including my mom as well as my best friend, Kachaan. I can also feel emotions, emotions that aren't what I'm feeling at the time and I'm kinda confused. I sometimes have these hunches most of the ones I've been able to ask the person they are about, and they were correct they are just feelings that someone is going through something, more than they let on."
