Chapter 13

Athena P.O.V

My eyes widened

" w-what happened?" I whispered not believing what I am seeing

Leonardo's attention shifted from the mirror to me

" Athena, what are you doing here?" He asked, but I didn't reply, instate I quickly got closer touching his arm softly so he will turn to face me

He wasn't wearing any top so I could see his shoulder... there was a wound that looked like he has been shot by a bullet. The wound was stitched together and it was bleeding

" w-when did that happened..?" I felt my eyes tear up

" It is nothing serious, please don't cry," he said but he didn't touch me since his hand were also bloody

" Why are you here and not in the hospital? how can you say it is nothing serious...? "

" Doctor was there last night, he stitched it up together, he also said it is not serious. Just that the wound needs to get cleaned time to time and I was just trying to do that," he said softly I wiped my eyes

" l-let me do it for you," I told him

" no... you don't have to," he said, I shook my head

" sit down on the bed I will do it " he sat down and I took the first aid kit and walked up to him before putting the first aid kit down on the nightstand. I walked to the bathroom washing my hand with soap so it won't affect his wound, I took a towel from the towel rack. I know they are all clean, otherwise, I wouldn't be using it. I then washed the towel with hot water so I can clean the blood on the wound for him. Going back he was still sitting there like a good boy.

" I am sorry I am taking long, it is just I got to do it properly," I said as I softly started to clean off the blood from the wound and around it. This sight made my heartache

" it is fine " he replied

After I was done cleaning off the blood I took few gauzes from the aid kit and softly put it on the wound i then put tape at the edge of them so they will stay in place.

" shall I wrap bandage for you or this is enough ?" I asked him

" It is more than enough, thank you" he smiled

I took the first aid kit back to the bathroom and washed my hand.

" can you come till here please ?" I asked him from the bathroom and soon he was there. I took his hands and washed them for him. It actually felt good to help him wash his hands. His hands are bigger than mine, of course, and that what makes it feel so good. I looked at him from the mirror

" dose it hurt? " I asked

" truth yeah, but not too much, it is stable " he replied, I was about to say something else when we heard Stella voice calling us

" you two come down here! lunch is ready" hearing her voice brought up a question

" do your parents know you are hurt ?" I asked curiously

" my dad does my mom no " I nodded I then went to his closet bringing a T-shirt for him

" it is fine I can wear it myself " I only shook my head

" let me help you, you are hurt " he sighed I then helped him wear his T-shirt slowly and carefully not to hurt him.

" and it's all done, " I said with a small smile

" thank you "

" you are welcome, now let's go " I took his hand slowly in mine as we made our way to downstair. Aiden, Stella and Mr. King were already sitting there waiting for us. I sat down beside Aiden and Leonardo sat beside me
