Funny? Isn't it? Life has just started, but it have to end it so soon. I'm just a girl, a little, naive, young girl. Did I meant to go this far? How did I even get this far?
Abigail thought to herself while lying down in blood puddle, facing the open sky, letting the moonlight hit her face with all it's shining. Air is so cold that she could see her own last breaths.
"I can rest now, father, you can rest now too.. with me..." she said to herself with a slight relief.
But she didn't know what would come next.
Suddenly, the world wasn't the same, the moon started to shine even more with all it's glory, sky opened up like something would fall out of it.
She was scared, alone, in cold blood layed down and hoped that her life would end faster.
The last blood pump through her veins.
The last blink with her blurred eyes from the last worm tears.
The last breath.
The world stops, time stops, her heart stops.
The last beat for her heart in this world and the last thing she sees is her father.
"See you in the next life, my dear Abigail." said her father, holding her hand and slightly kissing her forehead.

*Dr. Lecter's office*
Hannibal walks in, sits behind his table and sips his Auchentoshan 78 year whiskey. He tends to finish his drawing and pretends to not notice Will in the room who waited for Hannibal to come.
"Have you came here to kill me, Will?" Hannibal interrupts Wills stalking from the darkest corner in the room.
"Yes.." Will isn't sure about his answer
"Will you do so?"
"N-no" he shuttered like Hannibal has asked so much of him.
"Your decision making has gotten mixed with what you have within your power." he said while finishing the last touches on his newest drawing.
"My power of making my own decisions has been long gone since you managed to get into my head and play me like one of your dolls." Will walks forward the table.
"I'm simply pointing out to you what needed to be pointed out long time ago, Will, you're not yourself, you've changed, accept that."
"In that case, I'm leaving your killing for someone else, who has their own power over their decision making."
"And why are you so sure that I'm not gonna make them into my manipulative dolls?" Hannibal looks up to see Wills face.
"I was talking about you, you're the only one that holds the power and the slightest possibility to kill you. We both know that the day will come, something's gonna happen and this race between you and the world will end." Will wants this race to end, but he can't do nothing about it.
"Sounds fair." Hannibal agrees with a slight smile on his face, looking right into Wills blue eyes.

*at Jack's office*
Alana and Jack is talking. They get interrupted my a police officer.
"Sir, we found her body."
Alana looks at Jack with worried look and Jack has already teared up, they both leave and rush to the crime scene.

*at the crime scene*

Abigail, laying down her body just the way she left, dried blood all over her and around her, still can see the tear marks going down her cheeks.

"Call Will, we need him here..." Jack informed Alana. But the way he said it, didn't match his words, he said the way that sounded like he didn't want Will to come here, but it would be just the right thing to do.

*Will arrives*

"Listen, Will, I know this is hard but-"
"Where is she?" Will interrupted Jack, he was scared and needed to see her as soon as possible. They both walk over to the cold, pale girls body.
"She didn't deserve this, I needed to protect her, but I couldn't.. I wasn't there for her.."
Will, with a lump in his throat, trying to hold back the tears, tries to explain himself, but he can't think of any reason why he couldn't be there for Abigail. Tears are breaking through no matter how hard he tries to hold back.
"Will, don't blame yourself, this is not your fault, we both know that." Jack tries to calm down, but it seems so unreal to do so.
Will takes a few deep breaths, takes off his glasses, and gets himself into the role of the murderer.

"As soon as I see her, I take my knife out and stab her without hesitation, the first stab was right into her stomach. As she falls down, I stab her the second time in the chest. I drive her body further away from the spot she fell, I needed her to feel the pain. I stand there for a while and watch her bleed out, to be sure she won't be able to get up. I leave, but I look back, like I miss her, like I want her to leave with me, but it just wouldn't be the right thing to do."

Will wakes up.
"What did you see, Will?"
"Sh- she didn't fight back, Jack.. the murdered.. a man. He knew what he was doing, he killed her without hesitation, the murderer stabbed her twice, because he wanted her to die fast, but at the same time painful death. He wanted to let her say goodbye to herself..."
"Where do we find him?" Jack asks like he's sure Will knows where to find him.
Will looks dead in the eyes of Jack -
"We both know."

*At the morgue*

Will sees Abigail's body laying down on the metal bed, where the dead bodies are examined. He thinks to himself "She shouldn't be here, this is not right.."
Brian and Jimmy explained the stabbed wounds again.
"Will's right, Abigail didn't fight back, we didn't found anything under her nails, no bruises that could show marks from fighting, nothing." Jimmy explains.
"But, however we found something interesting on her face.." Brian intrigues.
"Her face is too dry and looks like she has a lot of dead skin. This can indicate that body has been in a very cold place and then very hot place real fast, and with fast body temperature changes, facial skin can get dry and cells die." Jimmy explains.
"So that means she went to the North Pole?" Jack dramatically tries to get the full picture.
"If she's been somewhere cold, then it's more like a city.." Will tries the same thing as Jack.
"She might've gone to see someone to another city and then came back to Virginia." Will continues
"Maybe someone who didn't want this meeting to happen, found out and knew what information will be given to her, and took care of the information going any further." Jack said his idea like he thinks he's close to the point, the whole picture.
"She probably went alone, we need to check all airport and bus station camera footage." Will helps.

*At Will's home*

"I thought you killed her" Will knows what's coming.
"I never said I killed Abigail." Hannibal, letting himself in and feeding the dogs some meat from a paper bag, said his truth.
"We were both responsible for her, it's our fault she's dead.." Will tries to calm down.
"Abigail's death is what you think is our fault, I think we're both responsible for getting her into the possibility of dying in our hands." Hannibal sits down.
"She didn't deserve it, I didn't deserve it.." Will is close to a breakdown.

"Maybe you should think more of what she did deserve rather than didn't deserve."

Hannibal drives Will closer to the breakdown.

"You cold hearted animal, how can you talk about Abigail like this? Don't you feel just a slight of regret or loss?" Will breaks down faster than he thought.

"Will, think with your brain, not heart, that wasn't love, you saw yourself in her, you hated her as much as you hate yourself, Will. Don't you see? You tried to make her more like you, you made her kill someone. Tried to fix her just so you can feel better about yourself." Hannibal fools Will, manipulates him. Hannibal cares for Will, he wants him to see what Hannibal sees. He wants Will to see the truth that Hannibal sees. Hannibal tries to make things better, but Will doesn't understand him.

That's just the way it is and nothing could change...
