The bell rang as the door opened.

"Hello! I'll be right with you!" A voice sang.

Ursa walked towards the small desk in the back of the salon, his hands rubbing over themselves shakily.

Soon enough, a clean looking ocelot faced Ursa head on at the other end of the counter.

"Good morning, how can I help you, dear?" The man faced upwards with a warm smile, his hands propping himself upon the desk.

"I...I was..um...wondering...if you do um....hair care here..?" Ursa's voice was quiet. The ocelot became puzzled, this voice hardly matched the appearance of this tall muscular bear. However, that appearance was something of an intriguing sight.

Oaklyn's eyes began to wander along the bear's body, landing onto the forearms of the lad. They glimmered in the fluorescent lighting of the building. They were, what seemed to be at the time, solid gold.

Oaklyn returned his glare to Ursa's face.

"Of course we do! I'm happy to take care of you over here!" He pointed towards a small chair at the far end of the salon. Ursa quickly made work of himself and sat down where he was told.

Solid gold! Thought Oaklyn. Fancy seeing someone like that around here, especially one so handsome.

Oaklyn walked over to the lad and gingerly placed a towel on his client's shoulders.

"Now, what are we looking for- oh! What is your name? We moved so quickly I forgot to ask! And you are aware of my prices, correct?"

The bear became very flustered, his face turning pink.

"O-oh, um...my name is...Ursa...and yes..I am aware of your prices and I'm prepared to pay..!" Ursa pulled a small bag of gems and money, making Oaklyn's eyes light up.

"Wonderful! Well, let us go on with this appointment." After pulling off the small hair tie holding back Ursa's long black hair. He placed all the hair in a small tub behind Ursa's head. He ran his long nails through his mane. Suddenly, the bear giggled.

"Hehe, that tickles..your nails are so long! Oh, pardon me, I just..I'm not used to this."
Oaklyn smiled.

"Ah, you're new to this beauty work aren't you? That's alright, just stay calm." Oaklyn continued to drag his nails through the bear's locks, as he did, he tried to make small talk.

"So, where are you from? I've never seen a marking like the one on your chest."

"I am a sun bear. I got it from my father."

Oaklyn's face lit up. Sun bears were rare, usually kept to the farther side of the country. A rare family, a special breed, a high class!

"Oh really? What does your father do for work?" Ursa went silent as Oaklyn pulled the small shower head out of a small holder, and calmly rinsed the locks of warm grey hair.

"I don't like to talk about that."

Oaklyn paused for a moment, he looked down at the small bits of dirt and massaged Ursa's scalp.

"I see, I-I'm sorry about that."

"Oh it's quite alright. I don't mind. I come from a proud family, is all. That's why they trust me with my instincts when it comes to money and living 'n such."

"Hmm..money? Is that important to you?" Oaklyn splattered a small dab of shampoo onto in hand, and rubbed it into the hairline.

"I suppose not. I mean, I spend it every once in a while. Maybe food, never really materialistic items or things like this but..."
