Debt Paid

Prologue

This is my first story so bear with me but this chapter is gonna involve both back story pov's to shine a little light on the situation and main characters. Please comment and give me feedback. Thx ❤

Ashur's POV

I never imagined this is where I'd be at 18 in my last year of high school but I shouldn't be all that surprised. Most teens live normal lives and their worst fear is acne or horrible rumors ruining their reputations around campus. For me it's whether or not I'll live to see daylight or whether I'll make it out of this dungeon alive.

My name is Ashur ... last name is unimportant, but the situation I'm currently in is all thanks to my messed up family life. To make a long story short here's a quick run down of my "family" and what mess they put me in. My dad is a gambler who doesn't know when to quit, my mum is a druggie who is never home and when she is she's slumped, and well for siblings there are none. Due to both my parents having money problems, mainly about how they spend it, they have gotten into some debt and whoever loaned the money isn't the happiest about how his investment was spent!!! That's why when he came to collect his money the only options were pay up or give him something, that something ended up being me. I can't believe these assholes gave me away without a second thought, "Fuckers", I screamed, as I was taken to this hell hole I'm in now, wherever "this" is?!

It has been 3 days now and I have an unsettling feeling this loan shark guy is about to have me killed for being useless to him. I mean what could a senior in high school really do, I can barely pass Prob & Stats, or any class really (Honestly I probably could if I applied myself but I never cared about grades or school in general). As I'm sitting here blindfolded and chained to what I think is an iron pole I can hear foot steps above me which sound like they're getting louder. "God help me", I mumbled just as I heard the door knob click and light poor in the cold cement room.

Mr. De Santos' POV

My name is Mateo De Santos. I am a big shot in the business industry but also like to help poor sods  *lets just say I'm charitable with my money... until I'm not*. That's the whole reason I'm in this messy situation with whoever this kid is. I loaned his parents a large sum of cash and instead of helping themselves they put themselves more in debt, and I had to teach them a lesson for it. Originally I sent my men to scare them but they got careless and took this kid as debt paid, kinda sad actually but shit happens I suppose, now I need this kid to disappear before questions are asked and I don't like questions.

After the week I've had, I haven't had time to deal with it but I think 3 days alone with scraps (the servants don't know how to take care of anyone, useless people). Just made it home and now I'm gonna have to handle this once and for all!!
