EXTENDED SUMMARY

bellatrix in latin means warrior.

bellatrix, better known as bella, doesn't believe she lives up to what her name means. she has been through a lot her whole life.

she was very protective of her little sister, beatrice. they were very close, but when around the same time the flare happened her sister got very sick. their father, who worked at wicked, went to the facility to get some medicine he knew that would help her. but he never came back.

bella waited and waited, hoping he would come back while her sister got worse. then the one thing she hoped that wouldn't happen did. her sister started turning into a crank.

bella did something she regrets to this day. she killed bea. but only because when bea had a grasp of her own mind for just a few seconds she pleaded for bella to end her life. bea always wore a necklace that was of a sun. ever since she died bella has wore that necklace in memory of her.

when the flare got worse, her mom realized that she needed to take bella to wicked so she would be safe from the flare. that day was the last day she saw her mom.

arriving at wicked she was very shy and barely talked to anyone. but this one boy with blonde hair, a kind smile and a british accent came up to her and started talking to her as if they've known each other for years. ever since then they've became the best of friends.

after doing some tests on bella whenever she first arrived, they realized that she's very special. they believe she might be part of the cure they needed, so to test their theory they put her in with group a.

bella was put into the glade one year after alby was and she was scared out of her mind when she woke up to see all greens and realized she was trapped by four walls and she absolutely hated what was outside of the walls.

then suddenly a boy would be sent up in what they called the box every month. she was confused and a little upset as she realized no girls we're going to be sent up. sure it was hard living in the glade full of boys, but she made it work and thought of them all like family, even gally, who's most of the time in a good mood when she's around him.

but this one boy, newt caught her eye. whenever he came up in the box there was just something familiar about him that she just couldn't figure out. after the awful event of him trying to jump off of the wall, she remembered all of the memories they had together at WCKD and realized they were best friends before this.

after that awful event happened she realized how much she cared for newt and it scared her that she was falling in love with her best friend.

life goes on like normal and things changed for the glade when one specific greenie showed up in the box. weird things start to happen after thomas arrives and bella was so happy when teresa arrived because she thought she was going to be the only girl forever.
