Dylan's POV
I rubbed my sleepy eyes as I woke up from my slumber by my alarm saying I have to get ready for school. I hop out of bed and walk over to my closet and pick out my outfit for the day, a pair of shorts and a regular shirt. I try not to stand out there or be noticed afraid that my bullies will harrass me. They're not that bad except for well maybe Axel, but Jakon really doesn't let him pick on me that much. That entire friend group consists of Jakon, Axel, Matt, James, Haiden, Denise, and Katy. They mostly pick on me in the morning and afternoon so I can avoid them through out the day as long as they're not looking for me.I continue getting ready by going into the bathroom and fixing my hair up and brushing my teeth, doing all the basic things I need to do to get ready. I go downstairs to get breakfast, knowing that my mom is already gone. I grab a bowl of cereal and eat my breakfast while scrolling through the social media on my phone.
I see the time and realize I have to go or I might be late for school. I grab my hoodie and bookbag and head out the door.
As I am walking, I hear a car pull up beside me along with laughter, I turn to look and I see that the culprits are my bullies, with Axel driving the car and Jakon in the passenger seat. The windows were rolled up in the back so I couldn't see who else was in the vehicle.
I continue walking, now picking up my page hoping that they won't harrass me before school.
Axel follows along side me in his car keeping up the pace with me.
"Why don't you get in Dylan?", He says while chuckling."N-no t-thank you" I manage to stutter out. I hear Jakon mutter something but I can't exactly make out what it was.
"C'mon well give you a ride to school", Axel says rather forcefully.
"Just leave him the fuck alone. I don't have time for this shit Axel. Just drive the fucking car."The sound of Jakons enraged voice makes me jump.
"Fine whatever" Axel murmers.
He speeds off but not before driving through a puddle to which it splashes on my legs. It's not that bad, only water I can clean up when I get to the school.A few more minutes pass by and I'm at school walking through the front doors. I keep my head down as I make my way to my locker. I dig out the things I need for my first class and quickly head to math.
I sit down in my seat and start reading my book, "Five Feet Apart". I honestly really do love this book.
The teacher walks in pulling me from my book. "Alright class let's start the lessons for today." I close my book and open my notebook ready to start the lesson.
As the class just begins, the door swings open to reveal Jakon McLeod. Of course he's in my first period class. Me and him got assigned to do a project one time and that's how I started getting bullied by his friends.
He walked in like he owned the place and continued to walk to his desk, which of course was seated beside me.
I kept my head down hoping that I wouldn't be enough to grab his attention.
I feel the vibrations of someone tapping on my desk. I turn to look and it's Jakon. "I need a pencil."
I looked at him dumbfounded and said "ok" and quickly turned back to taking notes." He poked my side which caused me to give him my attention. "Usually when someone says they need a pencil you're supposed to give them one"
"Oh" I became flustered and quickly dug in my bag and found a pencil and handed it to him, our hands brushing together."Dylan, Jakon, you both know that talking during a lesson is not allowed." Our heads snapped up hearing the teachers voice. "We weren't talking. We were exchanging a pencil. Get it right lady before you blow a blood vessel." Jakon proclaimed. I looked at him with shock knowing that I would never be this disrespectful in fear of the consequences.
