Hello...
It's me, Kate..
I hope you all haven't forgotten about me.
I know I have been absent for a couple of months by now and I am terribly sorry for it. The thing is... I wasn't in a happy place. My load of work at university and at the hospital was huge and very stressful...in addiction I had some personal problems to take care of.
I thought that I could heal through writing, but then I understood that if I really wanted to heal I needed to do that by myself.
Now I'm here, I'm happy and I'm trying to write again.
In addition, I think we all know about the Covid-19 situation out there. Let me say that I live in the north of Italy and the situation here isn't rosy. It's pretty bad. As a med student I am aware of what is happening...and all my support, all my respect goes to all the doctors and all the nurses who are working non-stop to try to limit the infection.
Always remember that they are humans like us: they can make mistakes, they have families to go back to, they have emotions, they get tired, they get sad, they can fail...they are humans.
With that said, I am going to be at home for at least a week so I promise you I'll do my best to make the chapter I'm writing ready to be published. But...I haven't written in so long that I have a sort of writer's block.
I am not a selfish person, but if you guys could show me some support I'd be eternally grateful to you. I need to know that you like what I am writing. I need to know that you still want to follow Lara and Hercules' journey.
And then...we almost reached 50k reads.
Wow.
I am speechless and deeply humbled. I never thought I'd reach this numbers, especially with English not being my first language and the mistakes that can be found though my words.
So thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

To the ones who stayed with me from the beginning, to the ones who arrived progressively, I love you.
