CHAPTER-5

Kritika's POV:

After roaming on too many stores and not finding anything good as per my imagination I started loosing hope and thought of buying anything which I didn't like as I have to select something atleast for wearing and their is so much for me to do at home which was not done yet and mom and dad were doing alone and I was not able to help them.

Rhea suddenly called me from behind and I looked back and pointed towards a mannequin at a store. It was a plain white suit with diamond embellishments all over it. It just caught my eye and I can't stop looking at it . It was so elegant and I have definitely not worn something like that before yet I was totally lusting over it. Rhea was totally amused by my reaction and she was totally aware what I was thinking as she was also thinking the same.

I quickly made my way to the store for trying the suit and it was definitely looking good on me.
"Janvi you look fabulous and I am totally feeling jealous " said Rhea to which I can't stop smiling ." No worries babe we will also find something good for you again later come now hurry mommy is waiting for me".

When we reached home it was already 10:30 and we were super hungry and damn tired." U both are very late and I m very angry beta u should understand it's not safe atleast u should have told me to pick u up so that u r safe" said papa as I opened the door.
" Papa I m really sorry and I don't wanted to be late but things were taking time and they are coming on sunday we don't have enough time anyways and you were also busy with your work and mom so I don't wanted to disturb you. Please don't be angry I m really sorry" I was really sad as I have not seen Papa so angry and I was worried.
Suddenly I heard papa and mumma smiling to which we both were shocked and actually quite relieved knowing that they were not angry.

Papa said " Janvi I can see u are actually interested in this marriage thing and u are taking it quite serious and u want everything to be perfect but don't u worry everything will be fine. I am just amazed to see my little princess all grown up and acting mature whereas I was thinking u will not agree to all this but as I can see my daughter wants to get married I will find the perfect man for u who will cherish u and will take care of u" and by saying that I saw Papa were crying . I have never seen my father getting emotional and it just broke my heart that he is so worried for me and my parents are going to miss me after I got married and started living with someone else.

I hugged my father and I also started crying  to which mom and Rhea came and also hugged us. It was a group hug and we all were emotional although we didn't know at that time whether the guy coming on sunday will be good or not but I have a very strong feeling that it will all be good and I can already feel the connection building within me well I don't know about his side but I m really excited to see how things actually go.

"C'mon everyone I m damn hungry let's eat something " said Rhea as she was particularly very fond of my mom's cooking .

After finishing dinner Rhea went to her place and I was also ready to sleep after taking a long shower . I changed into my favourite shirt which I always wear at night .

Next day I woke up from ringing of my alarm my mom calling me from downstairs . It was 10 am already so I slept too much but I was feeling quite relaxed after yesterday's hustle.

I  decided to have a quick shower and brush my teeth . As today I was not going anywhere outside I thought of wearing something cozy for the day I opted for my blue tank top with my black denim shorts and decided to tie my hair in a bun.

I had taken leave from office regarding tomorrow's remaining prepration.

After getting ready I stepped downstairs mom was already done with making breakfast so I had to just eat it  and I was also hungry it is actually a blessing to be with your parents as you don't have to worry about your stomach mom will give you anyways.
I went into the kitchen hugged my mom and wished her morning to which she started shouting as to me getting up late in the morning too which I kissed her on the cheek and she hushed me away .
I quickly ate my breakfast as I don't want more shouting.

After doing that I quickly started cleaning the house as ordered by mommy as it is my basic weekend job and as the guests will also be coming tomorrow my mom wanted it to be clean thoroughly. After completing that I decided to go for a quick shower for cleaning myself.

As I was coming downstairs Papa called me from his study . I was curious as to what he was going to say and will that be related to that guy I m meeting tomorrow or what else.

I knocked on the door twice and he called me to come inside. He was busy doing his office work as always and after seeing me he kept aside everything and focused his attention on me. " Come Kritika beta I was already waiting for you only" said Papa.
I went and sat on the chair besides him and said "yes papa tell me what we  have to discuss".
Papa said" beta I wanted to discuss some things regarding tomorrow's meeting with them as I have not told you anything about him and his family ".
