Being in a room full of people can make you feel significantly more lonely than being on your own ever could.
Which is why Camila hates parties or any type of social gathering, it's also one of the reasons why she never leaves her house unless it's necessary.
Grocery store, doctors appointment, pharmacy runs, Just the necessary things.

Everything else can be done online (granted most of her necessary runs can be done with an app.) But if she did everything with the push of a button she'd never step outside, and according to her therapist that's not healthy behavior.
(She stopped doing office visits and will only do FaceTime session with him now.)

Her human interactions are few and far in between, but being alone doesn't mean being lonely—and she's far from both.
During Camila's twenty six years of life she has experienced things she can't explain to just anyone.
If she talked to her therapist about it he would have her committed, if she talked to a priest, she would be exercised and dumped in holy water.

And she's not exactly religious but she does know something bigger than any of us exists. She also knows something dark lurks within this world, something that's purely evil and it'll find you if you let it.

She knows these things exist because she's seen them, felt them, heard them. All experiences were shocking, but a few were unnervingly disturbing and terrifying.

Ghostly figures of small children and demonic apparitions so cold and dark.

It's a wonder how she's still sane.

Know one knows true fear until their staring at something that they don't understand, something with power and cruel intentions, something that makes them weak and powerless against it.

Camila's latest experience isn't an unpleasant one though, in fact she would say it's a very welcomed one.
She recently moved into a new house and unexpectedly got two roommates.

Honestly, had she known the place was haunted before hand she wouldn't have bought it. But living with them—well they have been an interesting addition to her life.
