Chapter 17

Athena P.O.V

Literally all my body ache, it feels as someone has been kicking all over my body, I couldn't even open my eyes.

What happened?

I couldn't recall any of my memories. I was tired of thinking silently, that is why I tried to open my eyes once more and after a few more tries, i could finally open them. I was welcomed by an unfamiliar room.

Huh, when did I get here?

" oh my god, Athena " I heard Stella voice, making me look over to her. I opened my mouth to ask what is wrong with me but I couldn't, my throat felt numb.

" oh wait, you need to drink water," she said as she helped me slowly to sit down before pouring some water for me and brought the water close to my mouth I held it from there and start drinking it all.

I looked over to my hand and there is an I.V in my hand.

" w-what happened?" I asked not recognizing my voice

" you don't remember?" She asked, I watched her confused

" no last thing I remember is I was home alone and then-" my eyes widened

Aiden

My heart... oh my god! my brother. I felt hot tears streaming down my cheeks.

" I-I n-need to go..." I whispered taking the I.V out of my hand

" what? no! you must rest. don't worry, Leonardo got it all under his control " she said but I shook my head

" I-I must go myself, m-my brother he needs me now " I tried to stand up from the bed only to fall down on the floor.

" God! Athena, I said stop, please " she helped me up to sit down on the bed again.

"Stella, y-you don't understand... Aiden is my only family left in this world... I can't lose him" I shook my head as to try to deny the thought

" I understand your concern. Think about it this way, will Aiden want you to be like this? I am sure he wouldn't, so trust Leonardo, ok?" I was silence for a moment

She- she is right... I must stay strong for my brother's sake. I wiped my teary eyes once more taking a deep breath to calm myself down a bit more, so hopefully, I will stop crying

" you are right." I nodded she only gave me a sad smile.....

" w-where is Leo now?" I asked

" he is searching for your brother, don't worry. He will get those kidnappers soon and give them what they deserve, after all, no one gonna mess with king " I slowly nodded

" c-can I call him..?" I asked her

I didn't want to ask him to come back, I wanted my brother to be found as soon as possible.

I still can't get the image out of my head, how they were hurting him.

I wiped fresh new tears from my cheek,

" of course, here is my phone you can have it here with you, ok? I will go to make you soup myself." I nodded giving her a small smile

" thank you" she smiled before leaving me alone there closing the door softly behind her

Her phone has no lock on it so I just went to the Phone app and there I clicked " my handsome son " contact. That made me smile a bit

I took a deep breath before bringing the phone to my ear

" Hi mom, is everything alright? Is Athena awake?" He asked all at once

" hi, Leo.."

" oh my god, Athena you are awake? are you ok?" He asked worriedly
