"No." Mark said. He looked to Donghyuck with a frown, eyebrows slightly furrowed, shaking his head side to side, letting the younger know he completely disagrees with the idea.

But all the younger did was laugh. "C'mon! It'll be fun!" Donghyuck pouted, putting his hands together, begging Mark to agree.

Mark stared at the tall, roller coaster, eyeing the top, which had a cart full of people, waiting there. Waiting for their death drop. 3 seconds later, the cart dropped, the screams of people filling Mark's ear.

"No." Mark said once again. He started walking towards the food court, mainly to get away from Donghyuck. There was no way he was going to ride that thing.

"Please! Come with me!" Donghyuck whined, running after Mark, hopes still high. He was confident he could get Mark on the roller coaster. It was the bigger, longest ride at the amusement park, and he wants to go on it with Mark.

"Aren't you scare you'll die? Look how high it looks! What if it breaks? What if we get stuck?" Mark cried out, stopping in his places to look at Donghyuck, while pointing at the tall structure.

"I don't care if I die. Now, let's go." Donghyuck whined, grabbing Mark's wrist, pulling him towards the line of people that were patiently waiting to get on the roller coaster.

"No~" Mark whined, trying to stop. But Donghyuck was quite strong, so he managed to pull him all the way to the line. Now the two were standing there. Donghyuck with a grin, staring at the roller coaster in awe, while Mark had a nervous look, trying to calm himself down.

"Stop being a scaredy cat." Donghyuck smiled softly to Mark, pushing his left arm gently in a teasing way. In Donghyuck's opinion, it didn't look that bad. He thought Mark was over reacting. But Mark on the other hand wasn't so sure about this. With how tall it looked, the sound of people scream, and the terrifying drop, it looked more like death.

As Mark was too busy thinking of all the worse case scenarios, he didn't notice them getting closer to the entrance.

Donghyuck was jumping with excitement. Watching the next group of people get on the cart with a smile. Last time he felt this much excitement was when he and Jaemin went out to a haunted house back in middle school for Halloween. He genuinely felt happy at that moment.

"Mark, we're next!" Donghyuck said, shoving Mark's shoulder with his own gently to get his attention. When the elder finally realized what was happening, his heart rate was starting to speed up.

"I don't think I can do this." Mark said with uncertainty as he watched the other people get off the cart, nervousness settling at the pit of his stomach, fear shown in his expression. He wasn't ready.

"Don't worry. I'll be there." Donghyuck said calmly, giving Mark a reassuring smile. He grabbed the elders left hand, holding on to it. He noticed how soft his hands were. But he also noticed how sweaty it was, but ignored it. He did not want Mark to chicken out.

He looked to Mark, and noticed how he again spaced out. He rolled his eyes, but left him like that till the operator let them on the ride. He looked ahead of them, seeing the people in front of them giving the tickets to the one of the operators.

Mark on the other hand... Well his mind was all over the place. Half of his brain was telling him to run away, so he didn't have to go on that ride, where he could possibly die. But the other half of his brain was freaking out about hold Donghyuck's hand. It was soft, it was small, it made him feel safe. He wanted to hold his hand forever.

He unconsciously smiled softly, liking the feeling of his hand being held, especially since it was Donghyuck.

"Let go!" Donghyuck pulled Mark forward, climbing up the metal stairs, to where the operators were waiting to be given tickets. Donghyuck pulled out the amount of tickets that would be needed to ride, giving it to the guy.
