Of course it was snowing hard outside, hearing the wind blast against the side of my house and the tree braches smack the windowpane was only waking me up more than I already was. So, i got up and out of my bed, turning on the emergancy power just in case if the lights went out and the heater died. Not like the cold didn't bother me I just like to be warm when I sleep, keeps away the nightmares.

Tip toeing across the cold hard wood floor I make my way to the kitchen, checking the tempature. "60 degrees what the hell.'' Muttering under my breath I turn it up to at least 85 but then crank it down to 81. Sighing in relief I make my way back to my bedroom and close my door, flicking on my christmas lights that are dangiling from the celling in white and blue twinkling lights.

Taking my book and flipping it to the chapter I love to read most.

'Jack Frost.'

I don't know why but I feel like I have somesort of connection with him, though I've never seen pictures if him sometimes I think I know what he looks like, some what like some sort of winter fairy if that makes any since.

I personally think he has bright eletric blue eyes, with what seems like a snowflake sprailng out of the center from his iris. His hair would be snow white but have a small tint of blue along with streaks of sliver to exageratte is hair more. Though he would be devioush and sweet but has a soft spot for children, even when he's just goofing of he has the most knee buckling smirk that would make any girls heart melt.

What? A girl can dream.

Anyway, there was this one paragraph his family, And it goes like this.

'Jackson did however have a younger sibiling he loved and cared for very much, a little sister named Emma Frost. A very kind and sweet little girl who loved her older brother very much, dear to eachothers hearts they cared and looked after each other. And on her 11 birthday Emma recived a snowflake pendat that was a locket and had a picture of her and Jackson inside. Toghter forever as it read on the rim around the picture. Dear to her heart Jackson and along with the help of their parents worked very hard to get it for her, she made sure to wear it everyday.. until one fatal day she wished she didn't forget to put it on. Taking her iceskating Emma treaded onto thin ice, Jackson saving her... but giving his life for her safety.'

That part always had me in tears, they even had a picture of her from that age to where she was at 23 and to where she was an elder. And I have to say, she looks a lot like me, same big brown eyes, long brown hair and even the little beautymark by our right eye.

It gives me the chills just thinking about it. And as for the nightmares they are similar to the tradegy, on the ice but everything around me is always blurred, the sound, scenery, everything!

Though I think I've had enough for one night, so I out the book down on my nightstand and left my lights on, rolling on my side and closing my eyes. And I cant help but feel something is a little off and unsettling. I shrug it off and let myself slowly slip into dream world, but it soon interupted by a cold metal rubbing against my neck.

Putting my hand on the metal cord I followed it till I reached where it rested on my sternum, pulling it up and into the light my eyes went wide, it couldn't be, there was no way.

The snowflake pendant descirbe in the book was now around my neck.
