Twas the day before Christmas
For the EST timezone
When Santa came on his sleigh
And delivered presents with rhinestones.
He went to many places that were 12 hours apart

So he started to depart!
"Goodbye, my elves," he said to his helpers
"Goodbye, Mary, my dog, the yelper."
It was bright daylight
Santa sure would be seen
But not a glimpse of him was caught
As he rode across the sea green.
He reached @Auburncookie's house
And went down the chimney
Dropped presents in the stockings
And under the tree!
He was so disappointed
That there were no snacks
"Oh well," he sighed as
He heaved his sack over his back.
After awhile, he arrived at Chengdu
Where my cousins lived
And rowed canoes!
"This place is so cramped,"
He gasped as he struggled
Down the chimney
And landed in a puddle!
There was no Christmas tree
Or stalkings
No food
But someone talking!
"SANTA!" yelled a voice
But spoke in Chinese
For Santa could not understand
The kid on her knees.
He dropped the presents
And quickly went up
He had been seen!
Oh no how rough!
But Saint Nicholas never came
To our town in MA
He made the children sad
And shout his name.
