Jessica was 5 when she moved to Stacie's street, she was timid, so it took her a while to warm up to people and make friends, but that didn't stop Stacie from always talking and trying to play with the blonde. They eventually became best friends, and they were never apart from that day on. When Jessica was around the age of 12 her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jessica's world fell apart. For the next year and a half Jessica spent everyday in the hospital. While with most kids their mom getting cancer would cause grades to drop but it only made Jessica try harder in school, she wanted her mom to be proud of her. Her mom eventually beat cancer, and Jessica's life was back to normal...well, until she started to catch feelings for her best friend Stacie, then things went downhill again. For months Jessica refused the fact that she was gay until she couldn't take it anymore. It was killing her to keep it inside, she needed to tell someone and of course the first person she thought of was Stacie. Jessica was very scared the day she told Stacie, she was shaky and sick to her stomach. A few weeks later she told her parents and soon the whole school knew. Other than those few big moments in Jessica's life, everything was normal, high school went great, and it got better learning that she and her best friend in the whole wide world were going to the same college! Things couldn't get better well until her 22nd birthday or birth week as Stacie likes to call it.

Ever since Jessica and Stacie were little, Jessica had dreamed of going to Disneyland, so what better present to get her. Jessica was sitting at her desk working on her English homework when she heard a knock at the door, she got up, walked over to the door and opened it, a big smile coming across her face seeing her best friend on the other side. She immediately pulled Stacie in and wrapped her arms around her in a hug, melting as she felt Stacie's arms around her. After hugging for a few seconds they pulled away and said their hellos as they walked to the couch to sit down. They talked for a few minutes before Stacie pulled up Jessica's present and handed it to her with a smile.

"You know you really need to stop getting me a present every day for a week," Jessica chuckled as she started to open the bag.

"Well, it's you get a bunch of small presents or b you get one really really huge one," she said softly. Jessica shook her head with another chuckle as she pulled out a medium-sized Minnie and mickey mouse stuffed animal with an envelope attached to it. Jessica looked up at Stacie and raised her eyebrow as she slowly took the envelope off and started to open it. Jessica took a few moments before she pulled out the Disneyland tickets. It took her a few seconds to realize what they were, but when she did, her eyes widen, and she instantly lit up. She looked up at Stacie, who was smiling.

"Stacie, you didn't!" she said excitedly.

"Oh yeah, I did," Stacie smiled. Jessica squealed as she basically jumped on top of Stacie, hugging her tightly as she repeated over and over "thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" which caused Stacie to giggle and wrap her arms back around her best friend smiling, taking in every moment of closeness with the blonde. Jessica eventually sat up but stayed sitting on Stacie's lap as Stacie sat up, smiling at Jessica. Jessica squealed again, smiling widely. Stacie giggled and slowly moved the blonde off, knowing that what she says next Jessica will kill her for.

"There are a few catches, though.." Stacie said softly.

"And those are?" Jessica said, looking at Stacie raising an eyebrow.

"We leave in less than 48...and I may or may not have told them we were married to get a discount," she said, saying the last part fast. Jessica's eyes widen.

"You did what?!" Jessica said.

Stacie quickly got up and kissed the blonde's cheek, totally in just a friendly way... "I'll see you soon! Bye!" Stacie said as she basically ran out of the dorm. Jessica sighed and giggled to herself, yeah she may have hated that Stacie was given her less than 48 hours and told Disneyland that they were married, but she couldn't help to smile at her best friend for the fantastic birthday gift.
