Prologue

A/N this story is kind of based off the vampire diaries so I sadly do not own the plot that relates to it.

Arden-

We were on our way back from our vacation in Colorado. Me, my brother Liam, and my mom and dad. The whole car ride back was filled with smiles and laughter. I've never been more thankful for my family than right now. We began to cross this bridge that overlooked a gorgeous river. It was truly beautiful I thought to myself. As I was daydreaming about the river, I was instantly awaken by the sound of a crash and was flung forward only to reach the water that was quickly creeping in. We fell off the bridge and now we're sinking to the bottom of the river. The whole car erupted in screams and pounding of the doors and windows. This can't be happening, no, not now I cried to myself. There was no way of getting out of here. I could feel my ability to hold my breath was getting weak and I had to accept that I was going to die. I watched as my family drifted into serenity, knowing that I was not that far from it. At that moment I realized I had no chance, I closed my eyes and everything turned black.

A/N this is just the beginning!! & I was bored with my other story so I deleted it because I had the better Idea to write this one. Hope yall like it :)
