The giant Nightwing landed in front of the dragonets. Starburst looked freaked out. "Morrowseer"she whispered. "I-I we-I mean" But Morrowseer cut in "Starburst I expected better of you, sneaking off away from are home and meeting strange dragons, I certainly hope you weren't telling this sand dragon Nightwing secrets were you?"

Her wings shivered. "No-no never!"  She was obviously afraid of him. But why? "And explain" he dragged on. "Why would you disobey orders? Can't you remember? Dragonets under ten aren't allowed away from our secret home?"

She arched her neck and shuffled her feet uncomfortably her wings twitching slightly and talons scraping into the sand.

"I didn't mean to...I was just...curious"

Who is this grumpy dragon anyways? And why should she be afraid of him I could take him on I think. If I jabbed my barbed tail into his heart he'd be dead soon enough it would also weaken him if we had to fight...then I could stab him were my tail did and aim for his tail...what am I thinking I won't need to fight him.

"Are you saying it's ok for you to come and go?"  "No" she answered but not truthfully.  "And tell me more...who is this dragonet whom you were discussing with" before she could answer he lectured. "I hope you haven't chosen a Sandwing partner have you? That would be a disgrace to the tribe. And remember you don't get to pick" "He's just a friend"  Starburst told him with a weird edge to her voice.

Morrowseer looked him up and down.  "Aren't you the dragon Blister has been trying to find for six years? She'll be pleased if I gave you to her" Starburst gaped.

He wouldn't would he? "I don't think you two will be meeting again" He grumbled. "And you will be staying in are home" he pointed to Starburst.  As Morrowseer lifted up into the sky Starburst brushed his wing and she was gone.
