With the start of school, little (Y/n) ran around helping her fellow classmates with their homework. At the moment, she was conversing with a classmate over the house phone (land line to some).  "Yeah! You got this! Do you think you can do number five by yourself?" she twirled her pencil as she sat near the phone and a completed worksheet in front of her. Small murmurs can be heard on the phone, (Y/n) nodding her head and humming in approval once in a while.

"See! You understand now. Let me know if you have any trouble!", the classmate quickly thanked the little psychic and hung up. (Y/n) sat still for a moment and suddenly released a long sigh. All at once, the Saiki's felt a shift in the house mood. Before her beloved teddy bear could activate, her parents were at her side, asking what was wrong (although they were still "angry" with one another). "Nothing", her body seemed to contradict her and let out a small yawn. "Come on honey! You know your bedtime is in half an hour. How about I make you something to drink!", her mother slowly edged her closer to the dining table. "But what if someone needs help!", (Y/n) tried to argue but did not resist her mother's suggestion.

A/n: (The following is something I actually use to help me sleep)

(Y/n) opened the cabinets and levitated the necessary ingredients: cinnamon sticks, honey, lime, and water. "Do you want me to make it?", her father asked. Kurumi swiped her daughter away from her husband. "If anyone is going to help her, it's me!", and off they go. With half lidded eyes, (Y/n) tiredly watched the two fight. "Suo-nii", as soon as she called her brother, Kusuo appeared by her side and kneeled to her height. "Yes", Kusuo asked. Before (Y/n) could answer, she unexpectedly started to sway and stumble. Kusuo quickly caught her and picked her up into his arms, making sure her head was comfortably nestled on his shoulder. "You need to sleep", Kusuo patted her back gently and carried her upstairs. "But.... what if-", even though (Y/n)'s yawn paused her sentence, Kusuo knew what she wanted to say. "I'll take care of it", (Y/n) opened her mouth to protest but a cup of cinnamon and lime sweet tea floated near her. (Y/n) hesitantly drank the tea and allowed herself to fall asleep.

It took Kusuo a second to process what he just said...

"Good grief", He now realized that he will have to teach kids basic math. As this fact presented itself to him, the phone rang. If I remember correctly, (Y/n) said that most of the students lived in a 15 meter radius of our house...hypnosis it is, Kusuo picked up the phone and was immediately bombarded by questions. "(Y/n)-chan!!! Help me!!!", and so it begins. "Yes, what is the problem?", '(Y/n)' answered, or, at least, Kusuo pretending to be his sister. Kusuo proceeds to help six year olds with their homework.

Soon it was 10:47 pm and Kusuo tiredly answered the kids' questions. How much longer! Kusuo softly banged his head on the table. "Thank you so much, (Y/- oh..." Kusuo quickly paid attention to the kid. What was that? Kusuo pondered. "Please Mamiko-chan, I wanna talk to her...yes, I know it is your turn...isn't Haiba before you?....Sorry, sorry, I'll hang up now..." the child tried to quietly murmur.

WHAT! Kusuo was tempted to crush the phone. So...this was all a lie...and (Y/n) was willing to stay up for these brats! "Sorry but I-" the child started to here static on the other side. "(Y/n)'s" voice came through in short bursts. "Kiba-sa....hear.....electricit-....can't talk....sorry!" and the call ended. Kusuo tried his best not to slam the phone on the reciever but it still alerted (Y/n)'s teddy bear. The bear walked downstairs and stared Kusuo in his eyes. "(y/n)....sleep....no....wake!", the bear was ready to maul Kusuo. Kusuo knew it was his oh-so-great brother behind the bear's voice. Kusuo quickly wrote some not so nice words on a paper and put it in the bear's stomach slit. The bear's eyes lit into a green color for a second and it calmly walked upstairs to (Y/n). Kusuo went to (Y/n)'s room and gave her a small pat on the head before the bear arrived. Kusuo teleported soon after and slept peacefully as it could get with a hundred thoughts running through his head.

~TIME SKIP~

The next day, (Y/n) arrived a little later than usual since her parents insisted for her to sleep in. Loud shouts and conversations could be heard as she approached the door. "Alright...big smile, and happy thoughts", (Y/n) concentrated on not being nervous. She gave herself a minute to relax and entered. The door seem to have caught everyone's attention. "Everyone STAND!!!" Komiya yelled, as kids stood up from their chairs with their heads lowered in shame. "Wha-What is going on?!", (Y/n) was scared that she was going to be voted out of class. Did Suo-nii not help! Oh no! I should have stayed up! Now the hate m- "WE ARE SO SORRY!", the students shouted in unison. "...eh?", (Y/n) was confused now. Komiya walked up to her and gave her a small side hug. He turned to the class and explained to (Y/n) why they were apologizing.

"These brats thought it was okay to call you for "help". Even when they had no trouble with the homework!", Komiya said angrily. But you were tempted too! The class thought with unimpressed expressions. Sadly, (Y/n) hadn't activated her, so she didn't know about her friend's little secret. But someone else heard.

"Saiki- san! Your pen exploded! Are you alright!?", one of Kusuo's classmates pointed towards his ink coated hand. Those kids....!  Although he looked calm, his fists were tightly clenched and his jaw was set. Kusuo quickly calmed down and continued working. Hope (y/n) doesn't-

"I forgive you all!", the class looked up in surprise. Did she just...forgive them? "EH?!", the class shouted, why did she forgive them? "You guys must have felt sad and wanted a friend to talk to! I'm okay with answering calls as long as it makes you all happy", a soft smile made its way onto (y/n)'s face.

Sniffles and sobs rang through out the class. "We are so sorry (y/n)-chan!!!", the kids ran towards her and hugged her tightly. Although she was confused, she hugged all her classmates and repeatedly forgave them. When the teacher appeared, she called for everyone to sit in their seats. Reluctantly, the huddle was broken up and everyone got ready for the lesson.
