It's Quiet..
You've awakened in a place you're not too familiar with.
Quiet isn't the only way to describe this place.
It's dark... empty. Though it still seems there's someone or something here.
You brought yourself to your feet now. Unlucky enough for you, a wave of nausea hits you.. your knees almost buckle.
Deep breath.. your hand shakily reaches for an old rusted door handle. With whatever courage you do have, you manage to pull the door open.
It stinks.
An odor you aren't familiar with. Those legs of yours push on, leading you out of the room and into a terribly lit hallway.
Is everything in this place worn down?
Then you see it..
The many.. many pictures of yourself and family throughout the years. All over the walls.
Something about seeing them here and now didn't just horrify you... but it stung, like a hot iron to the skin.
Another door.
Once again your shake hand reaches for the handle.
Slowly.. you step inside.
As if all this couldn't get worse, your eyes widen and your breath hitches at the sight before you.
It was your family.. your friends, all gathered.
Though something seemed off. They all wore black and all of their expressions were blank.
Suddenly, in a very creepy unison.. they all shifted towards you.
Their tears weren't normal, they were dark.. so lacking of life.
They seemed to be beckoning for you to come forth without any words spoken.
Cautiously.. you approached what you now see to be a coffin.
Another deep breath.
....
It's you...
The body, in the coffin is yours.
But lifeless.. covered with scars all over your arms.
Eyes continued to scan your own corpse until you saw it.
The killing blow.
Your neck..
It was a horrifying sight.
It was red... and around it.. what looked like claw marks.
Signs of your struggle.
It was over.. IT won.
Your depression won, took you from all you love that you were at the time, unaware existed.
And it won.
