(MATURE) Together Again Part 30

What was happening? Why was Eren here? Why is Farlan here? How was he found? Is it possible to run away again?

No! It wasn't an option. Levi had tried to run way too many times and just how many of those times worked? Zero! He will always be found. So, better to start confronting his problems now, or in this case Eren, head on. Fuck it all to hell!

"Let's go," Levi looked down and grabbed Eren's arm, making Eren follow him. The greened eyed guy didn't fight back and instead, let himself be guided. He could have been lead to his death but with Levi, his love, finally by his side and touching him as well, Eren didn't mind. He would follow Levi to hell, heaven, and back if it meant being by his side.

'What the hell am I doing? Am I really going to take him back to the hotel? Would that be okay? Absolutely not. Kenny would scold him for this later, but right now, it was the only place they could talk without Levi constantly looking over his shoulder. He might even get Eren to leave him alone, or if push comes to shove, Levi would kill Eren. Enough was enough. 

Once they got to the hotel, Levi lead Eren to his shared room. They sat on the bed in silence for a minute. Both shocked in different way. Eren was shocked that he found Levi so quickly. Levi was shocked that Eren was able to find him.

Levi was getting irritated. Better get this whole thing over with. "I'm not going back and you can't make me. Even when this situation passes, I won't be going back and certainly not with you."

"I know," Eren said, "I know you won't leave. I wanted to... Apologize for my actions and ask for us to start again. As friends or something more."

Levi huffed, "You want us to start again? After kidnapping me, locking me up, almost rapping me, and hurting me in ways that will take years for me to recover from. You really think I can just, forgive you? Just like that?"

Eren looked ashamed of himself. Levi almost felt sorry for him. "Forget it. If that's all you wanted to say then leave."

"No! That's not all," Eren got on his knees in front of Levi. "I beg you, let me stay. Let me try to make things better. I'll get help for myself. I'll be a better person. Just let me stay, "Eren hugged Levi's legs and lied his head down on Levi's lap, "please let me stay. I can't live without you. This time you've been gone I... I nearly lost it. One more day without you and I would have shot myself. Please let me stay. Even if you don't talk to me. Just being by your side is enough." 

He could feel Eren's tears damping his pants. Levi combed his fingers through Eren's hair. There was something wrong with him. With the both of them. Even after so much shit that happened, Levi didn't like seeing Eren in such a state. Something in Levi said that the piece of shit deserved that and more. But another part of him broke. It made him just want to hold Eren and say everything that he wants to hear. Soothe his worries and fears. Make all the problems of the past go away. Kiss him until they both faded into their own little world. 

Could that ever be possible. Levi's days were practically counted. He could die at any moment now. Someone could kill him on the way to the store. Someone could find his location and get rid of him. 

Could Levi throw away everything that Eren had done to him and just have a moment of happiness? Even if it's just once. Even if afterwards, he feels guilty and completely kicks Eren out of his life.

Levi wanted to escape from the past and future.

Maybe Eren was his way to achieve that.

Levi hooked his fingers under Eren's chin and lifted the others head up, looking straight in his beautiful, tear filled eyes. "Why do you love me?"
