After their first day of school ended, Sakura and Jun both decided on walking home together. They only started their way off the UA school grounds when they were abruptly interrupted.
"Sakura-chan! Hattori-san!" a familiar voice called out. Jun and Sakura turned around to see the paranoid green-haired boy from their class. He was most memorable by the fact he did worse than Jun on the Quirk Apprehension test. Hattori and Sakura waited for the boy to catch up with them.
"I wanted to ask you both about your quirks! " he beamed, his face lighting up in excitement.
"Oh yeah, haha, sure," she turned to the boy, "Let me just text my brother that I'll be home late today. We can talk over some tea. Is that fine by you Sakura?"
"Yea! Sounds fun!" Sakura smiled.
"O-oh! There's no need for Hattori-san to! You really don't have to come with me if you don't want to! I don't want to take up any of your time..." he said shyly. Jun giggled at him. She flipped out her phone quickly and shot Daisuke a quick message. She began to run. After she was a ways away she turned around and yelled out to the other two.
"Let's go!"
After each of them had broken out into a loping gait, it didn't take long for them to reach the nearest cafe. The three ordered something quickly to eat or drink right off the menu and sat down. The greenette went straight down to business.
"What are your quirks? How do they work? What are your drawbacks and limits? Sakura-chan, can you turn your quirk on and off? Hattori-san, why didn't you use your quirk at all in the quirk apprehension exam?" he began. Jun and Tatsuko exchanged looks as the boy continued to ramble.
"Haha, p-pardon me Midoriya-kun. But Jun-onē doesn't know you yet. Why don't we take things slowly?" Sakura giggled. The boy, who's name was apparently Midoriya, blushed furiously.
"Y-yes that's r-right! Sorry Hattori-san!" he stood up, "I'm Izuku Midoriya, i-it's very nice to meet you!" Midoriya held out his hand for her to shake. He glanced away nervously, afraid to make eye contact. 'He said that really loudly...' Jun giggled in her mind, finding it funny how the boy was so embarrassed that he didn't even notice his volume. Jun stood up and shook his hand.
"Right. I'm Jun Hattori, but please, just call me Jun." The boy grew redder.
"With all due repect- I'm flattered but we just met and this is allsosudden we'rehardlyevenfriendsyetandyou'relettingmeuseyourfirsnamewhatdearallmightpleasehelpmeunderstandwhat'sgoingonimsoconfused..." he began to ramble as his face went from a reddish-pink blush to a flushed crimson. Midoriya also began making weird hand gestures, it almost looked like he was attempting to cover his face to avoid feeling ashamed. Jun placed her hand gently on Midoriya's shoulder.
"It's fine, Midoriya-kun. We're friends now, so you can use my first name." Hattori smiled. This didn't help the green-haired boy very much, but he calmed down a little. They sat back down and their tea was served. They talked for a bit about quirks and what schools they used to go to, Midoriya even opened up a little about his past with the blonde Jun sits by. His name was Bakugou Katsuki and as it turns out, he was one of Izuku's main childhood bullies, followed by his two guy pals. Jun couldn't help but scoff and narrow her eyes at the thought. What was somebody like him doing at a school for heroes in training? That sort of mentality towards quirkless people, late bloomers, and people he'd consider "friends" was just disgusting. Though, unfortunately that's just how the rest of the world was as well. Still, with the blonde's explosive and rather cocky personality Hattori was surprised that he wasn't some kind of supervillain. Then again, looking at herself, most people wouldn't take her for the "villainy" type. 'Oh well, that's the world for you. Just a bunch of stereotypes and expectations.' Jun thought to herself. She kept talking with the other two over tea, but she couldn't get the thought of ridding Izuku of his childhood bullies forever out of her head.
