The wedding ran smoothly as planned, all the nerves and doubts had passed and it was time for the family to celebrate.

'toast' everyone yelled as susan hit her glass loudly, jessica giggling loudly due to the alcohol she had consumed and the childlike features of her partner. susan reached down stroking her face softly as jessica blew a kiss at her, the full family 'awed' the couple as jessica hid her face blushing

'hello everyone' susan yelled as everyone held up there glasses

'today was the day one of my babies got married' she held her chest softly as she smiled

'and i'm so so happy, amber darling your an angel, i couldn't have paired miles with anyone more talented and beautiful' the blonde woman blew a kiss to her new mother in law hugging her new husband tightly

'i'm so so proud of you both, and i can't wait to have more grandbabies' she squealed as miles laughed

'now lets party' she smiled brightly as everyone cheered, susan kissing her son and now daughter in law momentarily

jessica was chatting to one of susan's old friends before she was interrupted by susan

'i'm sorry jake, do you mind' susan nodded towards jessica as he smiled

'not at all' he nodded hugging susan

'sorry' jessica mouthed to the older man as susan pulled her onto the crowded dance floor filled with young couples

'you trying to blend in' jessica whispered into susans ear chuckling softly

'you do blend in' susan smirked as jessica threw her head back laughing loudly

'suze these are all girls in there early 30s, you must be joking' jessica laughed kissing her cheek softly

susan looked round the room momentarily as jessica's eyebrow arched

'well you have the best ass, by far' she gripped jessica's behind softly, as she gasped

'susan!' she chuckled softly swatting her hands off her behind

'what i'm telling the truth' she held her hands up in defence

'yea but you had to think about it' jessica's eyebrows arched before walking out from under the gazebo

'vodka, neat' jessica spoke sternly

'i'll have what she's having' miles pointed towards the woman besides him

'tough time?' jessica questioned leaning
on the bar

'the worst, nobody leaves you alone, i mean i cant even get 5 minutes to myself without being asked how many children i'm going to have' he chuckled

'well to freedom' jessica held out her
glass as they clicked before shotting
the liquid it instantly burning her throat

'fuck' they both yelled in unison

'thankyou' miles spoke

'for what?' she smiled

'for making my mom happy, i haven't seen her like this, ever. not even with my father, just know she adores you' miles smiled before kissing her cheek and walking back into the group

jessica grabbed her freshly poured glass before walking towards the lake, taking her cigarettes out of her bra, realising she had left her lighter in her purse

'fuck' she put the packet back away before turning to a familiar voice

'need a light' susan shook her lighter as jessica nodded the cigarette hanging from her mouth
