Chapter 17

After we finished our meal at Ichiraku's, daddy appeared to give us 3 pieces of papers.

"What's this?" Asked Naruto

"I have nominated all of you to join the Chunnin exams. Those are the applications" He answered.

"Is it acceptable? I mean we just passed as Genin not long ago.." I said.

"Yes, all of you are capable to pass. However, it is still up to you whether or not you want to turn up for this exam. If you are interested, please hand these forms to Room 301 by 4pm tomorrow."

"Kakashi sensei! I love you!" Naruto said and hugged daddy. I smiled.

"Well, I guess I should have faith in all of you. Hope you will pass." He said and disappeared.

"Well, see you guys tomorrow then." I said and decided to walk around.

After an hour, I sensed someone following me. I smirked and walked to an open area. I stopped and said,"You can come out now."

"Hehe..I see you have found me.." A voice said.

I turned around and asked,"What do you want?" Before I fully face him, he attacked me with a rain of senbon needles. Oh crap. I let my guard down.

Luckily I reacted fast. I dodged most of it. Some made scratches on my left arm.

"I didn't expect you to actually harm me, Iruka sensei." I said.

"I see I have underestimated you..hehe" Iruka sensei said as he revealed himself from the bushes.

"What do you expect from Kakashi's daughter?" I grinned.

"I apologise. Good luck in the Chunnin exams, Sakura. Please be careful." He said and ruffled my head.

"Hey!" I pouted. I smiled and sighed. "Thank you, Iruka sensei! Oh, and be careful!" Daddy will kick your butt for leaving scratches on me,hehe.

He gave me a questioning look and said,"O-Okay.."

After he went away to test the other Genins, I assume. I stayed and train a little on my taijutsu.

~MEANWHILE~

Iruka appeared on my roof where I'm sitting on.

"You are right. They are ready." He said.

"I told you so."

"Although Sakura is the only one who found out I'm the one behind the act."

"I know, I was there. And for leaving scratched on her... Here." I punched his head.

"Ow!" He yelped. "Remind me not to harm her again." He said sheepishly.

I smiled at him and returned to the house.

As I step inside Sakura's room, a voice spoke.

"I assume you kicked his butt?"

"So you knew?" I asked, quite shocked.

"I have spent half of my life with you. I can sense your presence anywhere even without the help of your chakra." She smirked. "I know you will beat him into a pulp for harming me." She laughed.

"I guess you are all set for the exam then." I said and ruffled her hair.

"Yeah, but I admit I'm a little nervous and afraid of what's coming."

"Don't worry, I believe you can do it"

She looked at me and smiled. "I will give it my best!"

"Heh. Make your daddy proud, young one!" I chuckled and mess her hair up.

"Hey!" She pouted. "What is it with ruffling my hair??"

"Alright alright. It's a big day tomorrow. Good night, my little cherry blossom princess." I said as a kissed her forehead.

"Good night, daddy" She said and slept. I stood there looking at her pale face as she slept. The moonlight shining on her causing her skin to look like it's glowing. My little angel. I couldn't be any happier. I smiled.
