The Lone Detective

Episode 1: Sewers and Killers

Midnight, Gotham's sewers, nothing special, I was tracking Killer Crock for 2 days now, and prepared a trap few meters from here to catch him into. He wants some kind of medication, and i knew about one place where he could get it, I used Wayne's influence and set a trap in a medcation centre nearby Batcave. The sewers go right under it, and because Croc doesn't want to be seen, it's his only way of getting there,and i'll be waitig on him.

In about  about 30 minutes  i heard another person walking, that person was Killer Crock (AN: he looks like how he looked in Earth One book).I hid in the water, when he came close a slowly risen from it, making it seem like i came out of nowhere. Croc stopped. "NiCe TRicK yOu GoT tHeRe, BAT!!" He said before Croc slashed at Batman, he's fast i give him that. THankfully i had sides of my sleeves covered in O,5inch thick metal, but covered it only with black kevlar ( AN: the suit looks like Zero Year suit) he got throught the black covering and few milimiters in the grey part of the kevlar bodysuit, leaving small marks, thankfully they will be easily coverable with long sleeves. Crock uppercuts The Dark knight, knocking him out. "ThIs WaS't ParT oF tHe PlAn !" Said the beast before running away in the direction of the medical centre. "SHIT" was the first thing The Dark Knight said when he woke up in the sewers. I lost him, and i don't know  how long was i out, but i guess he is still on the way, or in the centre because i am alive, and only by pure luck. Luck of the first timer. I need to get to the centre, and fast.

"LiKe TaKiNG CaNdY fROm a BabY" said the beast with a smirk on his face." This baby bites Crock" , said the shadow behind Crock. " Ha, I kNeW i waSn'T fast EnOuGht." "Drop some weight then, but first...THE MEDS."Batman started to walk towards Crock , with his whole body hidden behind his cape, only head showing. "NoT HaPPenInG, KnIGhT!" The Bat smirks and trows 2 batarangs, both hitting Crocks shoulders. The creature yelled in pain and started running at The Detective, with his mouth open, preparing to bite him,and eat him alive. Dammit, nearly forgot on his suprising speed, at least this time i have enought space to move. I need to slow him enought to use the sleeping pill, i need to find a way to get it in a gas form, by Fox propably. Batman started dogding his attacks, trowing 4 more batarangs hitting Crocs back. The beast fallen on his knees long enought for Batman to force the pill down it's troath. The angered monster trown the Knight over it's back and ran away. Dammit, i need to stay close until the pill starts working, IF it starts working, i still don't have enought data on him, but i have suspicion that he can take bigger sedatives than humans, whitch would make sense thinking about all the different meds he stole.

Back at the sewers Croc stumbels from the sleeping pill taking it's efect, but still not enought to take him out. He is still walking away, without the meds, thankfuly i was able to stop him from doing that. Another 2 batarangs end up in Crocs back, and the beast growls in pain. "I am not letting you go, Croc." "WhAt Do YoU WaNT FrOm mE? YoU GoT THe MeDS, THeRe'S nOtHiNG eLsE YoU cOuLD gEt fRoM ME!" "You broke the law, you'll end up behind bars, that's how it works." The Bat started slowly walking towards the beast " ThE OnLy pLAcE I wIlL EnD uP iN iS zOO!" " No you won't, and i will make sure of that." Said the detectice before Croc fallen on the ground. The pill worked,but for how long? I need to get him out fast. Whitch means i need to get to my car.

After the Knight got back with his car, the Batmobile, he came to Crocs last location to find him missing. Dammit, i wasn't fast enought. What now, the water covered his tracks, i have to find  him, somehow. I need to get back to Batcave.

BACK AT THE BATCAVE

"Sir, good to see you back in one piece." "Thanks, Alfred." Alfred, my butler, my friend, my only family. He took care of me ever since my parents got killed, event that still haunts me. I remeber that the night after their murder i had i nightmare, reliving the event with some scary events after it. I was at a grave yard looking at their graves, before my fathers hand grabed my shoulder, I looked at him, his body was rotten, he trew me on the ground and stared kicking me, yelling at me "IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOU KILLED HER!  YOU KILLED US!  YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO STOP HIM, YOU'RE NOTHING! YOU SHOULD BE THERE WITH US!" I could't sleep for months after that, i still have the nightmare sometimes...." Master Bruce! Are you there? The alarm just went off, the jewelry on the Miller's street is getting robbed by... women in red spandex, blades for fingers and... weird masks.(AN: Penguins right hand women from 'The Batman')" " Penguin, Alfred get the car started, i am gonna take some gadgets for the mission." For those two i will need something to deflect blades, my large batarangs should work, some smoke boms, grapple gun, 10 small batarang for trowing, and remote control for Batmobile. After Batman suits up, he's ready to go to work.

JEWERLY STORE

"Move you two, the cops could be here any time." Said Penguin throught the radio. "The cops maybe, but i am here now." The crows (AN: name for the women in red) looked up at the shadow, his head was the only thing that was seen from his body. "Sorry Batman, but you're not needed here, i can do this myself." " Maybe we didn't understand each other, I am here to stop your little operation." "Not happening, girls, KILL HIM!" THe crows nodded and ran toward the detective, he jumped over them, body still hidden behind his cape "Stop before you hurt yourself." The knight took out his batarang, ready to battle. The crows run at him again, slashing at him, he blocks them with dashing speed and power, nocking them back a few inches. Before they got the chance to attack again, Batman trows one of his smoke bombs, blinding them, until one of them get kicked in the chest, trown across the room, before she gets the chance to recover, Batman dashes at her kneeing her in the face mid-jump, knocking her out. The other Crow gets from the smoke seeing her "sister" out, angered, but without sound, runs at the knight slashing at him, he jumped over her, landing behind her, sidekicking her in the back.  " Give up, while you still can." She just  jumps at him, slashing downwards. Batman rolls to the side, trowing another smoke bomb at her face. Before she gets to her senses Batman starts trowing punches at a rapid speed, until he takes her by the shoulders trowing her up, and kicking her in the stomach, taking her out too. " Should've listened." He used a transmiter to talk with them, i should take it to track him down. At that moment the GCPD car stops in front of the jewerly store. When they get inside, Batman's nowhere to be seen.......
