Chapter Thirty-Two

Emma lets her sweaty body fall on Suho's, panting. The boy wraps his arms around the girl's body and gives her a kiss on the forehead, turning them on the bed; Emma now lies on the mattress and facing Suho, she snuggles her head against his chest. He runs his fingers through Emma's hair. It was almost two o'clock in the afternoon and they still hadn't decided what they were going to do for the rest of the afternoon.

"Can we sleep the rest of the day?" Emma asks in a whisper. Suho chuckles.

"I know you're tired and I know you want to rest but it's my day off today." He says. "We should enjoy it."

"You're right." Emma opens her eyes and shakes her head. "What do you want to do?"

"We could go eat something first and then go to the beach, or anything you want to do." Suho suggests.

"Sounds good."

Taking the sheet that covered him from the waist down, he gets up from the bed and starts dressing again. He grabbed the first thing that came into his hands, a pair of skinny black jeans and a basic white T-shirt, as soon as he put on his shirt he looked at the bed and saw Emma still lying under the sheet. She stretches and gets up too, picking up her clothes that were on the floor and starts dressing again. She was finishing dressing her bra when Suho approached her from behind and hugged her, he kissed her on the neck and lightly nibbled her skin before letting go. Emma laughed and put on her shirt, passing her hands through her hair to fix it.

The two of them left the room and Suho grabbed the house and car keys, keeping them in his pocket. Emma opens the door of the house and they leave. They went to a restaurant nearby, one of the ones they had gone to on one of their dates.

They had the whole lunch catching up and talking about random things, as well as planning how they were going to do when Suho had to go to work; Emma said that she was going to pull Rhea out of the resort and get her a good-looking boy with the help of Anneliese to whom Suho looked at the girl and she laughed swearing that she wouldn't fall in love with anyone. After lunch, the couple walked to Suho's car, they went to the secret beach that he and Kai had taken the girls on their first vacation there.

As Kai and Suho began to go to the beach to play volleyball and football, both Kai and he had  a ball inside the car. Emma and Suho went down the wooden stairs and put their things on the sand, Suho played with the ball while Emma sat on the sand looking at the boy, after a few minutes he decided to mess with her and challenge her to a game. The girl had refused until she gave in when Suho stopped the ball under his foot and picked the girl up in his lap by threatening to take her into the water.

She eventually surrendered and he put her back down, they both played a game of volley for a while until they both got bored. Suho sat down on the sand and Emma sat between his legs with her back against Suho's chest, he put his head on the curve of the girl's neck giving her a few little kisses making her shiver. The day seemed to have gone by fast and the deserted beach with the show of colors in the sky made that evening even better for both who only enjoyed each other's company and warmth, it seemed like the last day they would see each other when it was actually the first day of a month's vacation.

When it started to get colder, they both decided to go back home where they totally discarded the option of making dinner and went to bed. Emma had fallen asleep as soon as she laid her head on her pillow, but the boy was already expecting it when she had made a huge trip and still managed to do several things during the day; Suho was lying on his stomach reading a book on his cell phone until he fell asleep.

The alarm clock that Suho had set to wake up to go to work went off, the boy, even though he was sleepy because he had been reading until so late, quickly grabbed his phone and turned off the alarm, not wanting to wake Emma.

He looked away watching the girl still sleeping, before getting up he placed a kiss on her forehead and got out of bed going to the bathroom to hurry up. Suho returned to the bedroom taking a white shirt out of the closet when Emma moved and rolled in bed, the girl slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them before looking at Suho.

"Leaving already?" She asks by passing her hands through your hair while yawning. Suho nods. "You gonna be there all day?"

"I have to. I'm sorry I woke you." He responds by wearing his shirt and buttoning the buttons. "I'll be out before dinner time." Emma groans and poutes.

"That's literally the whole day." Emma says, Suho chuckles as he gets closer to the bed and leans over.

"I'm sorry. I promise I'm all yours when I come back." Suho says giving Emma a kiss. She kisses back. He grabbed her cell phone and black apron and left the room leaving her alone. She looked at the time and turned around to go back to sleep.

Anneliese called Emma to wake her up, there was no way the blonde would let Emma sleep all day. Since Kai was also going to work and had already planned dinner with her, Rhea and Anneliese decided to go for a walk to show all the corners of the island to the girl who had never been there before. It was eleven o'clock in the morning when Emma had arrived at the resort lobby where Anneliese had told the girl to go. They were both surprised to see Emma being so punctual.

"If you're here, it means Suho went to work." Anneliese says seeing Emma approaching and looking at her watch. Emma rolled her eyes.

"You told me to be punctual. You should be proud." Emma replies. Anneliese shrugs.

"I am." She says as they start to leave the resort. "But there's a reason behind that punctuality, I bet."

"Yeah, Suho went to work before you called."

"Knew it."
