A New Virus?

So, one of my good friends Tammy has no school today because of the coronavirus. And my other good friend Cleopatra thought of a good idea to make a story about this little virus in Negi Root City. I will give it a shot. Also, keep in mind that all 10 modules that have died are in this story. If you don't know who they are, they are Soleil, Resonance Of Fate, Black Star, Aile d'Ange, Ame, Dancer, Yukata Rin, Kitty Yukata, Guilty, and Kasha. Hope you enjoy!

The date was March 13th, 2020. It was a chilly morning in Negi Root City. Angelica d'Aglior woke up and got herself dressed. When she was finished, it was time to wake up Stephanie Avery and Ciel DuBlois. She went to Stephanie's room first.

Agitation: Stephanie, are you awake?

Silent Voice: I'm up, at least.

Agitation: You better get ready for school. I'm going to wake up Ciel now.

Silent Voice: Alright.

Angelica went to Ciel's room next. She found him still sleeping. She went over to him and gently shook his shoulder.

Agitation: Hey, baby. Time for your online school.

Ciel: Okay.

He stretched and slowly got out of bed. Angie went downstairs to meet her parents Kelsey and Robert.

Kelsey: There's our little girl.

Robert: Morning, Angelica.

Agitation: Morning, Daddy.

The other 2 kids also came downstairs and said good morning to Kelsey and Robert.

Kelsey: Breakfast is not quite ready yet, dears. Why don't you go watch TV or something?

Silent Voice: Sure.

Angie, Stephanie, and Ciel went to the living room and turned on the TV. The RealSyd Bulletin was on.

Interviewer Miku: Hello, and welcome to the RealSyd Bulletin on Friday March 13th, 2020. I'm Sydney Watkins and thank you for tuning in. Our top story today is the coronavirus, or COVID-19. This virus has become a big issue around the world, and it has just hit Negi Root City last night. I would advise anybody that is still in school to stay home today. Also, this is a contagious disease, so wash your hands often and avoid anybody that you think would have this disease. The symptoms are a runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. And older people and people that have medical problems like asthma, diabetes, or heart disease are at a higher risk of getting this virus. So far, this virus has already claimed the lives of 2 modules. Don't let the next victim be you. Stay safe, Negi Root City.

Silent Voice: There's no school today?

Agitation: Because of this virus.

Ciel: Who were the 2 modules that died from this virus?

Soleil: I can tell you, Ciel. They were Yumiko Ikeda [Yukata Rin] and Katie Ikeda [Kitty Yukata].

Agitation: Really. I didn't know that.

Yukata Rin: Yeah. We thought that the both of us had a normal flu.

Kitty Yukata: Turns out we were wrong.

Ciel: Sydney said that people that have medical problems are at a higher risk of getting coronavirus. That means me.

Soleil: And Starmine, because he has asthma.

Agitation: And Pajama Party Len, because he has sleep apnea and has difficulty breathing whenever he sleeps.

Robert: Breakfast is done, kids.

The 3 kids went in the kitchen.

Kelsey: Did you see the news?

Agitation: Yep. We saw Sydney's top story about the coronavirus.

Kelsey: And school is closed for everybody.

Robert: You kids better stay here at home today.

Kelsey: We're going to stay home, too. And wash your hands often. And cover your mouth whenever you cough or sneeze.

Silent Voice: I always do.

Ciel: Mom, Sydney said that I have a higher risk of getting sick. Because of my health problems.

Robert: You better not take Stacey or Bella outside to the park then.

Kelsey: But if you really have to go out, wear these.

She handed him a face mask and gloves.

Agitation: A face mask and gloves?

Kelsey: It's for his own safety.

Ciel: Alright.

He put the gloves on and had Stephanie help him with the face mask.

Ciel: I'll be back.

He grabbed the 2 dogs' leashes. Stacey and Bella went over to him after they finished their breakfast. He clipped the leashes onto Stacey and Bella's collars and went outside.

Agitation: We have to warn Skyler Mieras, Patrick Padilla, and any other module that has a health problem.

Silent Voice: But we can't leave the house whatsoever.

Soleil: Why don't you try texting or calling them?

Agitation: You're right, Soleil.

She got out her cell phone and looked through her contacts. Stephanie did the same.

Ciel came back with the dogs a few minutes later. He went in the bathroom to wash his hands.

Agitation: Okay, everyone that we know now knows about this virus.

Silent Voice: Now we know what to do.

Agitation: What do you want to do now?

Silent Voice: Let's play with the doggies.

And so, the girls and Ciel played with the doggies for the rest of the day.

But will there be any more module deaths because of this virus? Negi Root City already lost 2 Rins. We'll just see what happens. I'll see you guys in the next story!
