It has been five months since we talked to the lawyer and got a court date set. Our court hearing is today. I'm so nervous I could throw up. Luke's parent's are in town to watch the kids. I hope he doesn't get custody of my babies. He doesn't deserve them or their time. He has never really been there for them. He has never played baby dolls with Sydney, but Luke does. He never changed a diaper, but Luke has. In ever thing that man has done wrong, Luke has proven that he should be their father. Blood doesn't make you family, the people who care for you and love you the most will always be family. I just wish I meet Luke when I was eighteen instead of that piece of shit.

"Our you almost ready to go?" Luke asked walking into the bathroom.

"Yeah." I said following him out.

"Everything will be okay. He has proved that he can't even be in the Army cause he's a drunk and druggie." Luke said trying to make me feel better.

"I know but it's the kids, if they weren't involved I would be fine."

"I know."  Is all he said as we got into the car and drove to the court house. When we got there and got into the room, we still had five minutes till it started and Mark was still no where to be found. As the time ticked by he still didn't show.

"Since he has not shown up and we can't wait any longer, I pull all the rights from Mr. Jones. All the rights go to you Ms. Johnson, if you ever have problems with him just let the police know and the restraining order is still intact. He can not come in twenty feet of you or the kids. Have a nice day."

"Thank you." I said as we left the room. This just prove that he doesn't care about his kids at all. We got in the car and headed to his mother's house.

"I think we should take everyone out for lunch to celebrate!" Luke said with the biggest smile on his face.

"I think so too." Luke got out his phone and told them to be ready and waiting outside for us.

"Do you think later on I could adopt Sydney and Hunter as my own kids?"

"I don't see any harm in that and I would love to adopt Bo and Tate." I told him, I love how we both see our future with each other and our kids. I think if things don't work out between Luke and I, I would still let the kids see him cause he is more of a father to them than anyone else has ever been. I hope we do work out and get married one day and our family grow bigger.

"What are you thinking about?" Luke asked taking my hand.

"Our future together." I told him smiling

"You better believe that we will have a future together. Get married, have a baby or two, watch the kids grow up, leave the house, get married, have families of their own, sitting on our porch growing old and watching our grand kids play in the yard. I can see it all." No one has ever said all of these wonderful things to me before. I felt a tear leave my eye.

"I love you so much, Thomas Luther Bryan."

"I love you too, Britney Jade Johnson. I can't wait to see where our lives take us." He said kissing my hand. I'm so in love with this man and I would change moving to Tennessee for anything in the world. In these last nine  everything has changed for the best, I have a great job, I found the love of my life, I got two wonderful boys and my kids finally got a father. I could not ask for more.
