~This is a short story I wrote about a plastic bag stuck in a tree outside of my school. Hope you like it!~

The plastic bag in the tree. Everyone asks, "How did that bag get up there?" No one asks, "Why did that tree want it?" I will tell you one thing, that bag didn't want to be stuck up there. The poor plastic bag is in constant agony, stuck in the limbs of that lonely tree. The tree has no one. It only has ungrateful teenagers, that pay no mind to it. When it is in full bloom, it provides shade for everyone.

Not once has it been thanked. The tree is always there, but never truly noticed. The tree is so lonely. So one day, it decided it was going to make a friend. However, the young tree has never known how to make friends. It has only seen violence. From school fights, to birds killing and eating one another. True story. The tree thinks that that is what you're supposed to do to others.

The tree then saw a bag blowing in the wind. I decided that the bag looked like a fun person. So when the bag got close enough, the tree snatched it. Piercing the bag with its long sharp limbs. Some days, the bag tries to get away. Never successfully detangling itself from the tree's grasp. Every time it moves, the tree holds on tighter.

The bag slowly starts to die being torn to shreds, not resembling a bag anymore. So the tree just finds new bags to be its friend. The poor, misunderstood tree, only has its unwilling friends, never truly knowing the friendship it wants.
