Lena's POV

Actually...it all went by like in slow motion.
Kara, the love of my life, carried by j'onn into the DEO and the agents holding me back from getting into that room and help them as they were working on kara.
Respect to them for keeping me away, I tried often. Very often actually.
It seemed as though it would be getting better for kara, eventually they let me visit her every day and well that's what I've been doing the last few days. Sitting in this very uncomfortable chair next to the bed kara was lying in.
The first two days everyone was very worried about her, she wasn't waking up but well, then she did and was her joking self as always but well she's just adorable.
She's recovering fast, well I won't call it fast but it's amazing if we think about how much kryptonite that asshole called my brother used on her.
He's gonna pay for that.
„I know he will, babe" she did not just- wait did I just- oh come on I did it again „yup you did" kara smiles cutely up at me and grabs my hand to gently squeeze it.
All I can do Is smile at her and just adore her „I'm so thankful that I have you back" I smile bright and lean down to kiss her, the kiss full of love and passion god I missed this.
„Yeah I missed your lips too, so much. They taste so delicious" I feel my face heat up as she's caressing my cheek „but you know I really would love to finally get out of this bed" I laugh at her, remembering how she's been asking for this since she first opened her eyes again. Well maybe it's time to let her out I mean- she's supergirl. Ha I won't let her be the hero now but actually a little bit of time out of here is probably just gonna help her and she won't feel so lonely.
„Fine" I say and she's looking at me with shock in her eyes and I nod my head.
She squeals „thank you so much!" She jumps up and into my arms as I hold her.
Wow she's really healing fast.
„I know right" she says and I hit her shoulder lightly, she's laughing loudly and then acts hurt, gasping loudly „I'm gonna tell Alex that you hit me! She's gonna punish you!" she says and I smirk at her while hitting her again „nope she's just gonna hit you too because you scared her so much. You know how she is" now her eyes are full of fear and I laugh loudly „well I do like this bed you know maybe I should stay here because I'm still so weak and all" she pouts and I peck her lips after I finished laughing „nope now you're coming with me" I grab her arm, leading her directly to Alex.

„Kara! You're up!" Alex shouts and comes running to her, hugging her sister very tight and I stay back in the save zone, just to be sure.
„I missed you a lot, sis" kara speaks up after pulling away and Alex instantly starts hitting her „how could you do that to us! Never and I mean never scare me like that ever again!" she keeps hitting her and I can't stop laughing at them „ouch! Lena! Leeeena! Help me!" she's shouting while looking at me and I just laugh at her „oh and I bet you asked Lena until she let you out of bed right? Oh I'm never gonna stop hitting you" she continues hitting her but kara ends up flying both of us to the bed, lying us down on it.
„I really missed you babe" she says In a quiet voice and I smile at her „I'm so glad to have you back here" she's pecking my lips and I put my head on her chest to listen to her heartbeat „you're gonna be with me, right?" she's saying kn a worried tone and I can feel her staring at me.
„Always. Every step of the way, my love" I say and I hear her breathing become calm as she falls asleep, soft snores eventually coming from her and I smile.
„I love you" is all I can say before falling asleep with the love of my life.
