chpt. 3

It's been a couple months and I'm gonna catch you up. So as you remember me and my dad haven't been able to see eye to eye, but I forgave him and now we're in a good place.

He would come over now and then, and we would have dinner, it's nice to know that he is trying. He wasn't lying when he said he wanted to make up for loss time, and that's exactly what he is doing.

As for me and Jullian, me and him have officially gotten closer, and by that I mean I am officially his girlfriend. After the everyday texting, he decided he wanted to go all the way, so he asked me out, and I said yes.

My brother is off to college, he decided he wanted to go to Louisiana state, and he'll visit every now and then. I'm proud that Justin actually did something with his life, rather than throwing it away to be in the streets.

As for me I now work at footlocker, just trying to keep my customers as happy as me. Jullian has something planned so I'm on my way to meet him. Were taking his car, and I was running late as usual.

I pull into the vacant lot and he's pacing around waving his hands around. I got out of the car and grabbed my bag. He saw me walking up to him and stopped what he was doing.

"Jullian I'm so sorry, I went over time, there were actually more people inside than I expected, I was rushing to get here. I got home as soon as I could and took a shower". I said rambling on, he put his finger up to my lips.

"shhh, come on it's okay I'm not mad, you're just doing your job, don't let me get in the way of that". I smiled.

"okay". We walked up to the car.
"mhm come on hop in" he held the door open and waited until I got in before jogging over to his side.

"Where are we going Jay?"
"I'm not telling you, just sit back and enjoy the ride" "well isn't that strange. I'm out on a friday night with my boyfriend and I don't even know where we're going".

"Yepp and that's not gonna make me tell you".

I slouched down in the seat "fine". As we were driving I reached over to turn the music up.

He looked over and grabbed my hand, once he did that, I started smiling. I mean who would have thought that I would be with Jullian, I always overlooked and judged him.

I dozed off, but was soon woken up by him shaking me. "Were here, come on" I looked around, but nothing really caught my attention.

"Where are we?".

"Come on and you'll see".

He grabbed my hand, and shut the car door, we walked further into the distance, and up a couple of stairs. He stopped walking, I looked up at him.
"are you ready?" He asked me
"I mean yea, and no, you're really acting strange".

"Well before we go in, can u put on this first?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a blindfold. "It's only for a few seconds" he interjected.

I hesitantly grabbed the blindfold out of his hands, he helped with my hair as I put it on. I felt him grab my hand, as we began to walk up the steps. I heard a voice, this all felt so weird, but I didn't think anything bad of it, because I trusted him.

"Ok were here, I pulled a chair out for you so all you have to do is sit down" he helped me sit down, but I soon felt weird just sitting in darkness.

"Can I take this off?"

"Oh, yeah sorry let me help you". I felt him taking the blindfold off, and when I told you the view was amazing. We were at the top of a building, we were having a rooftop dinner.
